Trying to find a website that tells you who owns a license plate. I paid money to [URL]RECORDSFINDER.COM[/URL] and get nothing I called and they said Massachusetts has a privacy law so I wasted my money.

Most states have a privacy law now. You will not get much information from any of the web sites that advertise now.

He will get you the info for under 50 dollars but you have to tell him you own a car impound lot and you are trying to find the owner of an impounded vehicle. I made up a yahoo email address to use something like Bob's towing at yahoo. All correspondence is through email. Google Buridge or burbridge private detective, all info is on his website. I had the info back within 24 hours.

Auto insurance companies have access to the databases as well. It may be easier to make friends with someone in that industry that it would be to befriend a cop.

There is definitely a record of who runs a plate. If anything comes of it, they better have a good reason for running it. I've seen it.
