Hey fella's,

I stopped in DC for a quick one day meeting yesterday. I had a 7pm flt out, and the meeting got done early at 1pm, so I had a few hours to kill. I though about driving around some of the areas I had done research on, such as K, L, etc. Just to see if any SW's were out. But good god! With all the construction and traffic it took 20 minutes just to go around the block. So I figured there was no way anyone would be out working in all that, so I looked up a few strip clubs. I headed over to Arcibalds. I found parking around the block and got in there around 2pm.

I got in, door guy checked my I'd and gave me the "No touching" rules. I had a seat almost right across from the stage. I got to tell you, that's the smallest stage I've ever seen. But it had good looking gals going up on it. And as each one came down they would come over and say thank you. Even before I gave them a tip.

First up was Star, skinny little thing. Then Bridgett, HOT brunette with very nice tits. I talked to Bridget a bit after she made her rounds. Sounded like takeout could have been available, but she had to run off and chat with a regular for a while. I'm pretty sure she was available if I had the time.

Next up was Lanea (Lane. Uh). Thin gal, nice butt, brunette. When we talked, she seemed more business. She was anxious to get back to the guy she had been talking to.

A few more came and went and then there was Lacey. Good looking brunette with a nice natural rack. Sorta that girl next door look. She had a great personality. She finished eating her lunch at the bar with me. We chatted a bit about her classes she was taking. At one point, it seemed like she was into dating outside of the club. However, when I asked if she dated outside of the club, she declined. She suggested that I look up her schedule online and visit her in the club next time I'm in town.

All in all, I had a pretty good time checking out and chatting with a few hot gals before my flight. Even Karen, the bar maid, was exceptionally friendly and cute. Next time I'm in town I'll have to spend the night so that I can check out the other clubs. I'll be back in a few months.

Then again, I'm not and will never drop the coin that some of the older 'regulars' do on these girls. Same story, the girl pitstops to say hi very quickly (if you're lucky) , then rushes off to the regulars. Its their prerogative and good business for them. Just a bit off putting when you're trying to establish a relationship. But to do so you need to drop major $$$$$ to get to even that point. Better to use that $$$ IMHO on a K girl or Independent provider than waste it just trying to get the attention of a dancer.

On that note, still fun to hit up the strip clubs every now and then, but for the average Joe, its not EI by any stretch of the imagination.

I'll be in the area next month and will stop in at EI. However, I was wondering if there are other clubs I should try? I've read back a ways and see clubs like Puzzles Event Center, Harley Riders Club. Is Puzzles still open and what hours? What hours is Harley Riders Club open and do you need a membership. What else is out there?

Makes you make an effort for our hard-earned cash... And, she actually did her best to deserve the five songs I did with her.

Right after, another talent stopped by and asked to give a dance. Told her to give me a minute lest I spread on her after the other worked me real good. She simply said she didn't mind, and well... The rest is... History.

Personally, I like going to these clubs and Ebony Inn on weekdays. You get more attention and the dancers get a tiny bit looser with the rules. The last time I went into EI, the girls were literally watching for when my butt hit the chair so they could walk over. I actually had to stand up and pace around a bit to get a break from the dancers--haha. Some of the girls at EI may offer you a 15-min VIP special. That night there were a handful of 7-8's and then a goddamn 4! I was getting everyone in that night so I let her give me a mercy lapdance.

Many of these clubs stay open until 5 am depending on the day; they tell me Fuego gets wilder from 3-5 am, but I'm usually dead tired by 1 am. Generally, I try to stay away from the SC's on Fridays and Saturdays.

I made a visit to the Cloakroom and the second I walked through the door I realized I made a huge mistake! Ever feel like you're somewhere you don't belong? That's this place. Saw the clientle and oh no that is not me! Louis the Rogue THIS IS NOT! Owner dropped huge cake to do this place up! And clearly no scrubs like myself should be anywhere near this place. This is not a working man's establishment! As I've said before in a previous review, any place with a dress code is a place I've never had fun in. This place is for the powerful and successful only! Drink prices are high as hell! Only got 2 drinks and paid about $30! (they tack on a gratuity) Girls are gorgeous but unless you look like you should be there, forget it. Nothing negative really, just this club is not for me or us just above minimun wage types. Anytime the bouncers looks at you like "What are you doing here? It's time to move along. It's right on K St. So unless you "Really" work there (I.e Lawyer, Lobbyist, or guy with connections), don't go there. Again, not a knock on the club, I'm just not it's target audience. I'll stick to my hole in the walls thank you.

Going to be in the DC area next week. Read all your guys reports about EI and was thinking about going there. What's the dancers like? Are they all "ebony"? Or are they a good mix? Also is it safe for non-locals to go to at night?

The Hanger Club has girls during the day and evenings during the week.

Nice atmosphere. No cover and you can get a lap dance.

Last year at this time (just post Sandy) I found myself at EI. A great experience with many beautiful ladies in and out of costume and a crowd of people watching them. The post midnight special was pretty special. I won't make this year (out of town) but for those in the area. Hit up EI!

The club has girls from noon to 2 am Mon thru Fri.

Shift changes around 7-8 pm.

There are a few freaky ones.

You can get preview lap dance at the bar.

Sit by the stage and it can get interesting.

However, the first dancer does not come out until after 7:35 pm. Save your cash and arrive after 9 pm or you may be the only customer there. Unless their business improves there is no justification for this strip club to continue unless it is part of a tax evasion scheme.

I had jury duty a few weeks back and was released at 2 pm, so I decided to wander up to check out the Cloakroom. Turned out it was the first day they were open for lunch. A very friendly man was stationed outside the door and profusely welcomed me. I went up the stairs and was shocked at the transformation. Way too fancy; way too much light. I suppose it does no good to say it but I will anyway: bring back the Rogue!

A handful of dancers, a very vivacious and cute waitress, and two other customers were there. I got a beer; the waitress brought me back a bunch of ones when I handed her a $20. I presumed she had taken the cost of the drink from the $20. I tipped a few dancers; none took off their bottoms. Topless only? I suppose it does no good to say it but I will anyway: bring back the Rogue!

I decided I'd had enough and started down the stairs. Suddenly I heard the waitress yell from behind me, "are you going to pay for that beer?" What? If you work in the area and want to pop in for a drink and look at some titties, not a bad option. BUT...their drink prices are OUTRAGEOUS.

I ordered a jack sour, gave the chick a $20, and got back two singles. $18 for a fucking drink is absurd. $14 would have been HIGH, but expected, but $18? At 12:30 in the afternoon? I mean raise the shits at night if you must but $18 for one fucking drink in the middle of the day is insane.

If I were to go there again, I'd just pregame at Busboys and Poets first (or hell, just drink in the damn car if you want to go old school), then wander over and throw a couple of dollars at the chicks then leave. But I can't see me buying another mixed drink in there at those prices. And can't really see me going back at all.

Police are working to sort out the connection between a northwest D.C. strip club and a deadly Friday morning stabbing.

Officers were called to the 5300 block of Georgia Avenue NW in the Brightwood Park neighborhood for a report of a double stabbing near the Macombo Lounge just after 2 a.m. Police say both victims, a man and a woman, were transported to an area hospital, where the woman, who has been identified as Candance Reed, was pronounced dead.

I finally made my debut at The Ebony Inn this past Saturday. Now I've been here a few times but I've never gone during the day. I'm usually tepid about going to strip club in the day, but after reading all the rave reviews, I said screw it, let's go! Now I got there a quater to 6 so I wasn't expecting much. I was plesantly surprised. I took awhile for the girls to notice me, maybe about a half hour they did. During that time I couldn't help but notice some of the improvements they made. Not trying too hard to be something else to attract a more monied demo but cleaning up a little. The 2 new TVs behind the DJ was a nice touch and I was watching the day games. (p.s.. MD, SMDH) I'm questioning the tissues and hand sanitizer at table though. The kind waitresses made a point to check on me, mostly because there was nothing in my hand or on my lap. And though the food smelled awesome, I can never justfy eating at a place where there's open vagina. Anyway, I had a wonderful time overall. After getting dances from Cherokee, Bella, and others whose names I can't remember right now, I can tell without a shadow of a doubt I will be back! And next time I will be there earlier!

Had an hour to spare on Wednesday, so made a stop at EI during the day shift.

A couple of things struck me: first, it was refreshing to hear the management of the place call on the talents to either be on someone's lap or on stage; reminding all them that they were in a wrong place if they were looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend; and reminding the girls the old golden rule of business: customer is king... "be on your best, because if we get called, you go, customer stays!

The other thing that struck me is 'don't judge a book by its cover'. There was a nice tall glass of drink, easily an "9" that was mostly on the pole. Didn't approach anybody, and somehow appeared to be haughty. Surprise, surprise! When I called her, she ended up being the best dance I had had. Lots of mileage. I believe her name rings like a famous city in the UK. Her invite for more was tempting but I'll never knowingly be next with anybody in VIP!

Having a seen enough good reports on EI, I decided to visit the place. Actually, I've been there about 4 or 5 times since my first visit several weeks ago. Chuppi's comments are spot on, here are some more thoughts.

For those who don't know, EI stands for Ebony Inn. That accurately describes all but one dancer and most of the customers. There are a few white customers and I've seen just one Asian customer. I'm an old white guy and I've had no problems. Don't try parking in the back. It is very tight. Plenty of free parking directly across the street.

Usually got charged $10 cover, but most recent visit they charged $12. I don't know if the price went up or somebody took advantage of me. I got frisked on my first visit but never again. A beer is nominally $5 but the waitress short changes me about half the time. Watch out for it. Afternoon lap dances are $5, but I've heard they go up to $10 for the evening shift. Wait for the next song to start before your dancer starts your lap dance and tell her to stop immediately after your song ends, she will charge you for each part of a song. Since it is only $5 per song, you will see some men getting 5 or more lap dances without stopping.

The place is dark and loud, even after your eyes and ears adjust. Very difficult to carry on a conversation.

Hand sanitizer and tissues are on the tables. Never seen that before. One dancer handed me the hand sanitizer just before my lap dance started. I've seen them remove the sanitizer at the end of the afternoon shift; don't know what that was about.

I've only been there in late afternoons. Typically see 10 to 20 girls available. Lap dance have been quite good. The girls range from ugly to beautiful, fat to skinny, tall to short, and eveything in between. It's an average cross section of ebony girls of stripper age. On my last visit there was one beautiful girl and she was able to get a lap dance from every man she approached, at least she got a lap dance from the 5 men I watched her approach (including me). The afternoon shift ends sometime between 7:30 and 8:00. The afternoon girls are literally told to leave at the end of their shift. I don't know how long it takes for a decent number of evening girls to show up, I never waited that long.

There is a VIP room and I saw a sign that said it was $20. I don't know anything else about VIP services or tips.

Make sure that you wait for the start of a song. I have notice girls walk up to you mid song as well, then want full price. But for $5.00 a lap dance, it is a bargain compared to the Block. I was there yesterday afternoon. Yes I have heard the ... "Stick and Move" speech as well. I like it, it keeps the girls from just sitting around. I have also noticed the songs get shorter after about 4-5 pm. Just my observation. YMMV... But my mileage is typically HIGH. You just have to be on the right road! I usually watch how a girl dances for another customer first. My little "audition". Some of my regulars have disappeared... Star, thunder, destiny, queen, mocha. Some have reappeared.. School teacher, snow. Some names I can't remeber.. Those are usually the best. Not that I am there that often.. .MDC.

With the black girls, there's always a "Chocolate", "Mocha", "Caramel", "Honey", or "Passion". The white girls always have a "Candy", "Chelsea", "Sparkle" or "Snow White". Actually I never really got why the dancers even stick to one name. I can hardly remember their names once they've gone anyway. For the the guys that do, I don't really get why the guys advertise it. I mean, I'm not going to go into a club to go "Hey man, do you know which one "Sparkle" is? Some guy on a forum said she was off the chain... Ewww.

By that I mean I went to EI for the first time this afternoon, but there were no dancers! I don't know if I was just too early or what (was there from 3:30-5:30) but nobody was on the pole or giving lapdances. Place was dead as disco.

I guess the day shift on Sunday ain't the same as the rest of the week. That's probably why the cover was only 5 instead of the 10/12 everybody else is saying.
