So I tried out Serenity this weekend, after having gone to Joanna's (now Rising Sun) last weekend, so thought I'd post my comparison.

TL: DR massage and ending vary more from girl to girl than from one place to the other. Both give similar results--decent massage for the full hour with expected ending.

Serenity is in an old house and reminded me more of a typical AMP--dark tint on the windows and door, locked door with (ring) doorbell. I was let in and escorted upstairs to a room. While I didn't see anything that said "this is not a clean place" to me, I could see how others could think that (since it's an old house). The room was a bit small, and also a bit warm.

My masseuse (Coco, I think she said her name was) was friendly and gave a nice massage. After the flip, she leaned in close and wanted to know how much I would tip. I said 0. 5 max which was all I had left (since I wasn't exactly sure what I had paid for the house fee, since I gave $1 and got on the table before the change came back--it turned out to be $0. 65). It was a bit hard for me to tell if more was on the menu if I had offered more, but I got the standard ending, which was satisfactory (and perhaps a bit more sensual than my previous visit at Joanna's).

Joanna's is more like a modern "day spa" with open windows, a reception desk with computer, etc. The door is clear, and unlocked, and it's right next to a popular pizza place. Based on outward appearances, one would not think that anything other than a completely above-board massage would be available there (and my sense is that they would have a mostly female clientele, although I have not actually ever seen anyone else there--I don't spend much time in the reception area and go during quiet times).

The rooms are a bit larger, and at least the times I have gone, the temperature is a bit cooler. Since it's a store-front rather than a house, the whole vibe seems a bit more "modern" and clean. The house fee was $0. 6 and we did not discuss any tip or anything (which is my preference). I left $0. 4 which seemed to be satisfactory (sometimes I will leave $0. 6).

With respect to roaming--at Serenity I did get to feel some ass (over clothes) but didn't try for a lot more (not sure if it would have been possible). I have also been able to do that at Joanna's, and over the years have actually gotten one girl off (grinding on my hand--we ran long on time too), and also (different girl) had shirt / bra pulled up and a nipple in my mouth.

Assuming no changes, I will probably be sticking with Joanna's, at least for now. Hardest part of going there is limited parking and the pizza place next door. But I just don't let it bother me (and that's not my pizza place).

I have always maintained that hygiene and manners / etiquette are the key to tilting the scales in your favor for good service most of the time. Do your due diligence on different places that you know offer the services you want and the normal fees / tips for the establishments; there is no real excuse not to do this as there are many resources online to give you basics. Look into what is polite and good manners in Asian countries but focus on Korea, Thailand and the Philippines. I treat my visits like casual dates and dress appropriately to look nice and clean but not to stand out. Think business casual lunch date with a woman you want to date. I trim, file and clean my fingernails. I manscape a bit to tidy things up and for better hygiene. Have a fresh or recent haircut and shave (do 2 or 3 passes to get as close and clean as possible). Five o=clock shadow can be considered impolite or insulting when doing business or dating. Take extra care to clean areas where smells might form faster / early (I use a bit of alum block and withazel in these areas as long as its a spot I don't expect to get licked or tasted. My experience is that if you act and treat people like professionals they usually act and respond like professionals. Look presentable, professional and safe. Your first time at the door you meet Mama-san / Manager. She will assess you through the camera first and then again if she decides to let you in. At many places she is going to decide who you get or have access to. She's going to decide if they want you as a regular or not. Your experience (s) at that AMP are going to largely influenced by this person and she is there to over see a "Business". I am always polite, friendly with mama-san and I try to compliment something about the business or if its a return visit I compliment the service and how well the establishment is bein run / managed. I am discrete and never discuss anything more than a massage until I am alone with the masseuse assigned to me. Early or initial visits I communicate clearly and I always accept the table shower so the girl can assess my hygiene and I can use that opportunity to touch a leg, ass or whatever when she goes to clean a more private area to show I am good with it and so she has an easy low key way to turn me down if there was a misunderstanding and those services aren't available. I had one girl who was super cautious and tentative with me. If you can read between the lines its obvious who offers extras and who doesn't. Also tend to see men praise a place but "karens"/ civillian women complain about rude service, LOL. Plug phone numbers into a couple different search engines and you usually end up on a few AMP review sites if they have been around longer than 6 months.

Maybe a little over a year now but I never spent more than 220 for a visit. Have prices gone up that much recently?

Apparently there is a new MMS at EG309 after a long time under the old MMS. She's not well liked by anyone. HF+160 is pretty much the new basic price but a few people have commented that with the new MMS the girls want to negotiate harder / longer and give the cold shoulder treatment if they can't get you to go higher than the 160 tip for basic services. I was also told to ask for a different girl or just leave if the girl with the c-section scar is who I get. An acquaintance recommended that I just avoid EG right now and either start TOFTT at some new spots or just go to philly as the hassle factor will be the same at a 309 or a new unknown place at this point.
