Virginia State Police retain data for 24 hours, Hanover County Sheriff's Office for seven days, and Richmond and Chesterfield Police Departments for 30 days. Henrico County's retention period depends on the type of camera 30 days for non-vehicle mounted ALPRs and 90 days for vehicle-mounted ALPR.

Where to take your SW. Flyover view
In this hobby, especially for those of us to travel frequently, it can be really tough to find a nice safe spot for car activities. I have quiet secluded areas I have scouted all over RVA but going to a new city requires a lot more homework. I used to drive around a city for hours trying to find the perfect spot to take my impatient little street wh*res but I now just scout it out on Bing Maps 3 D flyover view. You can really get an idea of how much / little traffic to expect. Here's a bit of trivia for you mongers, anyone else use these local spots?
