Over the last week or so, seeing lots of scam artists, con girls etc. I am right clicking on the pics and doing google searches and finding a sudden increase in fake profile photos, people asking for money, I got a few girls moved to texting, and everything going fine. Then I find they did not even look at my profile. Red flag. So just sharing.

Is there a good way to avoid putting a non-private photo of yourself on seeking that won't give you away? I'm scared to death to get caught. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Pics look better than her real life appearance. If I had known she was from New Jersey beforehand I'd have ignored her. If you were an SD from out of town, staying in the DC area for a few weeks, and could stay anywhere you like. What city / area would you stay in that would give you the best reach?

Lots of SBs in the surrounding area although my experience has been that some of them prefer Uber (infinitely more expensive) over Metro so be prepared for "pay my Uber" requirement.

You are much less likely to be caught by your wife's divorced friends or horny co-workers on a website than you are by your wife's natural suspicions and your inevitable mistakes. I can't tell you how close I've come to getting busted by losing sight of 100% vigilence in all aspects -- squirrling away cash, deleting apps on phones, losing sunglasses. If you do this long enough, you will slip up and get caught. Just like walking away from the blackjack table when you are ahead, its never enough and you play one last hand.

What is the typical per-date allowance expectation like in that area? I've heard mixed reports about DC area, some say it's a high female to male ratio and others call it a sausage-fest.

I can see this risk, but as you say. Its never enough. Any tips, advice. Or is that on a different thread?
