I am trying to get away from Backpage but I haven't quite kicked the habit yet. I started looking on Craigslist. I contacted several girls (sent them emails) but would not hear anything from them until many hours or days later. When I replied to their email, again I wouldn't get another one for hours later or I would keep getting the same email back to back even after I sent a reply. I am starting to think the girls on Craigslist may be a scam also. In my reply, I give them my cell number but I never get any text. I'm starting to think neither site is worth it anymore.

Many of the CL ads also are on BP. In my humble opinion CL is even more dangerous and shady than BP. Best to stay with well reviewed providers.

For every scammer or liar on BP there must be 10 on CL. Men posing as women, stolen or false pictures, etc. When something is free and there's no verification process the scammers flock to it because it gives them an outlet for their twisted minds. So just beware and know the likelihood of being scammed is tremendously high.

If an ad does not have a working phone number in it, then forget it. Girls who are ready to make some $ are not going to rely on email alone. Pass on CL.

Has anyone ever contacted anyone from Craigslist and after a few emails, they send you one with a link to verify who you are with a credit card? Sorry but I don't just put my credit / debit card number in websites especially when I am doing this.
