A 16 year old friend just found out she has genital herpes. It is so sad because she has only had intercourse once, that happened when she was 14 and she insisted that the 16 year old neighbor wear a condom before penetrating her. She cared nothing about the guy but let him talk her into doing it because she was curious as to what it would be like. It was a terrible experience for her and she decided she did not want to have intercourse again until she was a grown woman. She got naked and lay on the bed. He got naked, hard and had to put on a rubber because she made him. Then he climbed on top of her and with no foreplay, stuck it in and thrusted a couple of minutes and came. She said it was not pleasant at all. Then about a month later he comes to her crying because he has found out he has genital herpes. She felt safe though because she thought by making him wear protection she was ok. She did not realize condoms don't protect 100% from herpes. Now she is devistated. She says she only had intercourse once and used protection but still had that happen.

Has anyone ever used privatemd labs for anoymous st testing? 295 for a complete panel. Any other leads would be appreciated.

Don't hold that as fact. Look-up. Why not search the state laws where you reside? And, the public health dept can do tests also. Even though you may not qualify income-wise, they are also required to do tests upon patient demand/request.

If put urself in an MD's shoes, would know there are reasons for this. On the other hand, they would also be required to KEEP your records private. They would only report to CDC /state, age, sex, results of test(s) for the data base. They would NOT phone your home.

Relax, get whatever test you need, and be treated. Since have to be 18 y-o to join this site, that is what adults do, ne se pas?

Is this a response to my post? Anonymous testing is very real deal. A lot of people don't want to just run to people that they know for such a sensitive test. There is also the real risk of your insurance company dropping you for just requesting the test no matter the results. Anonymous testing is done all of the time - I just want to find a reputable center and be smart about it.

At AMPs, when they give you a TS, they ask you to lie down, naked, face down, on a foam mat. Kind of grosses me out to be laying the boys down right where some other boy's boys have been, probably just a few minutes before. They do rinse it off first, but still. The warm, wet conditions would seem perfect for various fungus, bacteria, and viral particles to remain viable between visitors.

Next time, I'll just ask to be washed standing up. Anyone else made this request at an AMP? How did they respond?

Not going into the safety aspect to much on it but how many guys out there has worn a condom this way. I have heard some guy say that you get more feeling this way? I've read as far as HIV goes that if the head is covered and there is no nicks in the skin your safe. Not saying that you couldn't get something else but that is something I read. I'm one of those guys who personally hate to wear they but if wearing just on the head gives me dome protection and I still get the feeling I'll go far it.

Sometimes I refuse the shower, especially in winter when it is kind of cold, or if I don't want to go home smelling of soap. Usually, the masseuse will rinse the table / mat off before you lie down on it. However, I think there is little concern about this. Especially an Asian place (Korean) they are extremely clean people. However, it never hurts to check the towels a little, make sure they are changed. However, they usually put down a fresh towl in front of you. But I think either way it is more a psychological thing with little danger from picking up a disease.

So. If such a high number is infected, and don't notice, because they have no symptoms. Seems to suggest the virus is becoming less and less of a problem as it becomes more and more widespread. Viruses are adapting to overcome our defenses and to cause less harm to us at the same time. Basically herpes / colds are same thing. So. Eventually this diseases will not be a cause of concern in humans and all of us will have it.

Well. Two days of intermittent pissing blood (maybe all together a thimble-ful of blood, but when it comes out your cock that seems like a lot). I have been drinking gallons of water each day. Also a painful right testicle and sensitive flank (right abdomen, from bottom of ribcage (top of love handle) to the hip bone front and back) occasional shooting pains. Cloudy urine. Oh, yeah, and burning on urination.

No puss, no drip. No fever or other signs of infection.

I have been seeing doctors on and off for 2-3 years now for some of the symptoms (especially the tenderness of my right flank and right testicle). They happily take my money but never provide an explanation. However, after looking at all of the symptoms together, it seems kidney stones is the best possible diagnosis. It certainly has felt like I was passing something the past few days.
