Ellie, put the detectors back in place. No one even chased after the bait when that statement was made.

I did not end up coming to see you after stating that I would but that post was not the reason. Real life kind of got in the way and I found myself taking custody of my step-son (adopted during marriage) from my ex, since she can't seem to handle living life as an adult and being able to provide him with stuff like electricity and running water.

I'd hardly be considered a White Knight, considering some of my negative reviews.

While I agree with you about this forum being a "boys club" - it always has been - the longer we hung around here, the more inevitable it became that the providers would start posting.

I loved this forum for its lack of provider posts and monger suck-ups. But, like I said, the longer we were here the odds of providers finding out about this board increased. Now we just have to maintain that this is a site for mongers to discuss and review NOT let it turn into a useless classified board, as at TBD or a kissy-kissy love-fest, led by provider posts like TER.

Now, I ask you, what would you rather have, a provider, like Ellie, who posts under her name, sticking up for herself against a comment designed to drive away business by making an "Are you still beating your wife?" kind of statement? Or would you prefer the, obviously, faked glowing reviews of someone from a poster with a posting history of one post?

It could have been just as easy for Ellie to make up a name like "Johnny Poonchaser" and said something about how untrue the statement was and how "he's" seen Ellie 900 times and each time gets better, etc.

Instead, she was straight up about who she was and what she was angry about. Granted, she was a bit over the top and grandstanding but what woman isn't? That's the whole reason I stay single and prefer the hobby to dating and mating. Like Charlie Sheen said, we're not paying them to see us, we're paying them to go home when the fun is over.

So, over the top reactions or not, Ellie is still -based on the pictures and videos I've seen and by my personal tastes - the single best looking girl working, in the area, from her pretty face to her cute feet. And I'm not even a "foot guy" but those little feet make me understand my friend, who is obsessed with women's feet, just a little better.
