Sunday Evening On The Trail
An active night with lots of talent out. Some really hard to turn around and return to, others meandering along.
Saw a mid 30's tatted dirty blonde walking north. I pulled into a parking spot about a block ahead and waited, rolled the window down and just played with the phone. She walks up to the window, inroduced herself as Nicole and simply said hi and then commented that it was cool outside. Need a ride to get out of the cold? Sure. Walked right over to the passenger side and jumped in, said she needed a little cash for the night, popped out a booby and reached down to see if I was ready. You know the game. Wants 30, offer 20 and meet in the middle.
She suggested a spot but feeling it was a little to close to our pick up point so decided to drive a block or so and then work our way behind the bowling alley. Went thru the flight checklist, dropped the drawers and she stops the game demanding cash. Pointed out its location out of the way, and became insistent on donation in hand. You know the counter offer. Simply said I don't work without the cash in my hand, grabbed her purse, jumped out and walked away. I let her go. Pants back up and move on.
Sent out a few texts and continued north. Got one response from Shannon and decided to swing by the numbered streets. I pulled into a side street and worked my way back to 44th where a thin BSW standing on the corner caught my attention. Apparently that street also hosts a large church congregation. Some of the younger members were overly anxious to rev their engines and hustle away. LEO was everywhere anxiously waiting. So when I turned the corner I saw an almost immediate red / blue light show a block or so behind me. I pulled into the BP on the next corner, parked and got out to go by a Coke. He turned into the drive behind me but turned off his lights and continued on the same trail I had just left. Unnverving. Texted Shannon that her neighborhood had an infestation and went home.
Stopped looking.
Mac Out.
