I think that may be the one of the girls - Emily.
Definitely long brown hair - and I saw this girl out last week and she totally ignored me and would not make eye contact with me at the Exxon. I assumed she thought I was a cop and I found out that it exactly the reason she would not acknowledge my presence.
I'm not sure if my experience Friday around 1:30pm involves the same SW as the Emily being spoken of or not but there are some similarities. I was cruising down 1st in the woodlawn area around 50th st. when I saw a very attractive slim WSW. Initially I wasn't sure if in fact she was a SW so I made the usual passes to assess the scene and waited on a side street to see if she was hunting and would pursue or if she was just an average civilian out and about. She took the bait and approached my vehicle and of course I offered the poor damsel a ride. Now I'm wondering if this is a SW why did so many other hunting motorists pass her by. So now while we're riding I'm being extremely cautious, because like I said this is an 9 on a SW scale. We're randomly driving around because I'm still assessing this scenario wondering have I lucked up on one of those rare finds. By now most SW would have asked where we're going and not been so willing to venture out so far from their area. Okay I'm beginning to feel comfortable and I find us a location to settle up and she mentions her name is Emily. She gives some sob story about her boyfriend burning her clothes and putting her out and needing money for the reason she's having to work the streets. Initially I believe her because she's smelling nice, her toes and nails are professionally done, and the whole time she's been well mannered. Once the clothes come off I'm impressed by the body right away. This was one of my better experiences from a SW. After the business it gets weird. I'm suggesting to her escorting may be a better way to go for her since SWing offers a higher degree of danger and she says that is what she was doing in the Hoover area. Now things seem to fit, the freshness, the grooming, the manners. Then she throws me for another loop and asks for a favor, to be dropped off in Norwood at her uncles house. NORWOOD, her uncle, right. I oblige and we get to Norwood(for those that don't know, this is the area where the now defunct Carraway Hospital sits) and she sees this thug pass us and she calls him on her cell phone. In her discussion she tells him it's Amber and a light goes on in my head because I believe there has been some discussion of a SW named Amber on this board and for the life of me I can't seem to find it through the search feature because I'd like to check the photo and see if this is the same girl. If it is she must be just getting back to the streets. Either way I'd like to hit this spinner again. She wouldn't let me take pics but she did give me digits and made me promise not to pass them out. You know how that goes in the SWing scene, how long before the damn service is discontinued. Then I read the previous reports from MD and CK and was reminded of Thurs. evening while I was out there was a lot of activity in the Woodlawn area around McD's and there was a SW on the corner that didn't seem to fit the community and cars were stopping in the middle of the street on the side street circling the block making the whole scene a hotbed for LE suspicion, although I could see why because she's not the kind of SW you see here in Bham. So I decided to get as far away as possible and headed home. Now I'm wondering if this is the same Emily in MD's report. I will have to try that phone number and see if she has a friend named Jackie and see if they'll partner up. I'll report back. in the mean time if someone can offer help on how to search previous posts when you can't remember who posted it and can only remember the subject because I'm willing to bet this is the Amber I've pics of on this board

What's funny is girls' stories always come unraveled when they end up doing something out of the ordinary from what they describe to you. They must think us mongers are stupid to think we'd believe they just happened upon the SW stroll and they're just out there calmly walking down the street. And every time you come upon a girl, they always have the same story of abuse by a boyfriend, being lost, or whatever. Yet they know the area, and know people in high crime areas. Areas where they always have relatives living, lol. And for that corner you mentioned in Woodlawn, whether it was 'Emily', a decoy or what, that intersection has a camera up on a pole there watching things. Regardless if it's a traffic camera or the high crime area camera which I more believe it to be, I wouldn't do anything at that intersection just to be on the safe side.

CK, I was in your fair city last week, and I picked up the frizzy haired girl sitting on a brick wall or step between the chicken place and American Motel. We did the cop check and she showed her smallish tits. But she wanted $40 for BJ, thus, I let her out. She smelled great, nicely dressed, and her hair was neat. Said her name was "Emmy".
After I let her out, I travelled down 1st to the Motel 8, and I saw another WSW standing on the corner. I picked her up, she said her name was "Emily" (now identified as "Amber"). Strange, but true. Cop check, told me the sad story of being an escort, but money was tight, boyfriend kicked her out, blah blah. Settled on BBBJ for $20, with CIM for a $5 tip. Found a spot, played with her smallish tits, did a good job.
After the deed was done, she asked me to drop her off at McDonalds. She asked where most of the other SW walked, near McD or near the Motel 8. I let her out, she gave me a peck on the cheek, and I went home happy.
Strange to have 2 above average WSW out, 2 different parts of 1st, and I verified both were not LEO.

Well, maybe she was an escort, since she was always holed up in that motel and never came out. I just assumed she was one of those girls that just expected the dates to ride through the motel lot and see them by their door or out their window and end up dating them. Someone dated her last year and had her number and gave it to me, but the couple times I had around the money she wanted her phone had a full message box and she never answered. Seems now, though, that she is really out on the streets and having to take street prices for her services. But for her to have been holed up there for at least over a year that she must have a bad drug problem, which is probably the reason she's accepting $25 for a BJ. I guess once frizzy hair Emily has been there and wore out her welcome, or done enough people wrong that her prices will drop as well. I'm going to have to look for Amber. Emily I'll probably pass on because she seems to think too much of herself and with that only comes problems when picking up a girl like that. I do wonder if there's any connection with these 2 girls within a few blocks from each other using Emily as their street name. Amber is actually named Amber, but who knows what the other girl's real name is.

Thanks CK this is the photo I remembered when Emily/Amber said her name on the cell phone in conversation to that thug. And this is definitely the girl I met on Friday. Other posters are saying the Emily they have entertained had frizzy hair while this so called Emily I met didn't have frizzy hair. It was blonde and pinned up. Although I did see a frizzy haired WSW on Thurs. evening around the McD's. By the way the damage for full service was $40. And I agree with you CK about most of those SW favorite places to stroll and the cameras. But as many have said before some guys get so desperate they will stop for a SW with leo parked across the street.

I'm on 1st ave north most everyday and while granted it is usually normal daylight hours and not prime time monger hours lately I'm seeing very little of anything. I used to almost always see a provider between 50th & the post office and then maybe one or two around Mickey Ds but lately I haven't seen anything other than the occasional possible. Have things tightened up or have the providers moved off the main drag?
I've kind of seen the same thing up in my hunting grounds in Etowah. As kind of an aside, with times being what they are and unemployment becoming significant I would expect to see more occasional providers, not hanging out on 1st and not in it for the crack money but providing in a more discrete manner. Are any of you guys seeing more of that activity yet? If we aren't seeing it yet I think we will. Just by .02, as in 2 cents, not two dollars...lol

All of the hot spots seems dry. This past weekend I drove all over town and found nothing. 1st ave, 8th ave, LEO was covering Finley all night, so I avoided that area all together. What's going on?

They're still out, you just have to be there when they're there. Remember what I always say. Girls out there are on dope, and if they have their dope or money for the dope, then you won't see them out until they're out of either or both. I've actually seen a good amount of girls out lately when I'm riding around, both late at night and earlier in the day. I just came in from riding around and saw several girls around 1st Avenue around 9 pm, and later around 11 pm as well.
Here is the pic I got on the WSW I picked up on finely a while back, she did not like me taking pic but I got what I could. I forgot her name.
It just may take a little dilligence on your part but the other day nothing was out then all of a sudden I spotted Kim and a older black one. It pays to watch the side streets.
On a different note has anyone ever tried the food at that Pacific Seafood joint?

She asked what I wanted to do & I was not going to answer that with her standing on the curb. Anyway I told her that I had 20 & she said her lowest was 40 I drove off as I had a bad feeling. There were 2 BSW's one with some tig ole bittys & alittle overweight the other was just overweight.
All of this was around Mcd within an hrs time.
I was coming up 1st from bham toward robuck & I see 2 WSW's right at the cleaners by regions bank. I thought that they were just walking at 1st but the thinner one looked right at me when I was checking them out. I was still? On them. I made a pass down 1st & decided to go back. I see the same 2 girls again but before I could get turned around to hit side street they got picked up.
Didn't pick anyone up anyone but like Clark says the hunt is part of the fun. Except I'm 0-3 in the last cpl weeks LOL.

Thanks for the report Tvolt. I think most mongers would agree that it's in our male makeup to enjoy the hunt. Part of what makes it so rewarding when you do find prey is the fact that you don't always find something. If the hunt was easy the glory of the spoils would not have as much luster. For the few that MAY disagree all you have to do is read how excited we get when we report that our hunt did bear results. But just as a word of caution, next time you don't feel comfortable with the situation don't even quote a price or offer what services you'd like, especially if the girl won't get in the car. Because that's all LE needs to charge you with solicitation. Hell for that matter don't ever quote prices or services let them take the risk. Anyway happy hunting!
