Man I haven't gotten a new pair of glasses since before the lockdowns one 2020. My vision hardware doesn't refill until 2023. I just don't want to spend 700 bucks for a new pair of glasses. I came across [URL]glassesusa.com[/URL]. Looks like I can get a decent pair for 200 bucks. But, I'm open to suggestions for other web sites. Unable to go to eye doctors during the pandemic, I assume that online eyeglasses websites have increased.

I don't wear contacts often, but I remember ordering from 1-800-CONTACTS, and I got them pretty quick.

I'm single with no family, so I don't have a Costco membership. I know that Costco's optical Department was pretty solid, like their tire department.

When I have my eyes examined, I take the prescription to Costco to fill it for the first two pair of glasses. On the Costco receipt when you actually buy the glasses, it shows your pupillary distance, which is critical for ordering glasses online. Many prescriptions from the optometrists don't have the pupillary distance number, as the dispensing optician measures the pupillary distance, and the optician usually doesn't write it down. Costco's receipt will have that number.

I personally would not get progressives or lined bifocals online because you need a height measurement that is measured with the frames you are intending to purchase.

Saw a long PM in my inbox from Honestone's latest alt. The great thing about reading on mobile is that PM contents are too small to read without a pinch-zoom. So I was able to delete his diatribe and add his new alt to my ignore list without reading it.

I totally get why Admin doesn't auto-ban him. Homey can fire up a fresh alt before his post-ban rage erection goes flacid. Containment is the best we can hope for.

So I've blocked his latest alts (SonicDevotee and AussieCrusher) and will add his new ones as they spawn.

I'm not concerned with missing any intel since he never shares any. He merely asks questions when others share and provides unsolicited criticism about what other hobbyists do and pay.

I hope he keeps PMing me every time he spawns an alt. It's a convient way of blocking him before I have to read a single word of his anger-filled rantings.
