I was in the area this morning and did the Wilkins Loop. I was going up Ramsey from the circle and saw a young black girl wearing a short gray dress, looked civi, walking down Ramsey. I went back up Ramsey and she was standing with the boys at Ramsey and Bruce, where the boys are always hanging. As I passed she waved and I waved back went to Fulton made a right and circled back again. I passed her several times each time she smiled and waved, but wouldn't walk away from the guys. There is no way that I am going to stop with a bunch of guys hanging close by. Lots of others out in the area of the circle but not to my taste. I was checking the area while waiting for a place to open and figured I might try some of the talent. Anyway the place I was going opened and I went on my way.
