Best to stick with known providers. If you are going to TOFTT (take one for the team) you have to be really careful.

Here is the deal. People talk about not wanting to discuss rates over the phone. Honestly, its ridiculous. Why? You will either discuss rate in one of several ways: on phone, text, email, in person, or hey, probably even sign language in person (sarcasm here for the latter). It is not illegal to talk about donations, generally speaking. What gets people in hot water is when they discuss what the money is for. For example, what is the difference in the 2 statements:
1. Hi, what is your donation to give me some head?
Versus.
2. What is your donation to meet you or for our session?
There is a hell of a big difference! On number one, you are asking her to exchange money for sex. BIG no no!
On the second one, you are saying I am giving you money for your time and companionship. MUCH better!
It is not illegal to discuss money for a woman's companionship; only illegal if you are trying to exchange money or something of monetary value for s-x.
The definition of prostitution is: The exchange of sexual favors for money or something of monetary value- The former is simple; the latter means that if I tell you I want to have s-x with you for some groceries and you both consent to this, you are in trouble- it does not have to be actual money- it can also be something of monetary value.
If you look on providers websites like 'Liz of Jax' you will see that she post her donation on her site. But let me tell you how smart she is:
What Liz is doing is shutting LEO down. Understand, the main way you get someone for solicitation is that there has to be a discussion of sex and money in the same conversation. What Liz and those like her are doing is this. They are saying that if you want to spend "TIME" with me, my donation is $250, for example. Then she tells you where to place the donation when you enter the room. THEN:
Here is the big "THEN!" She says, if you mention the donation at all once you enter the room, I am going to ask you to leave! This means LEO doesn't get a chance to record a conversation of you and provider having a conversation about sex and money to be played for a judge and jury. Don't hand LEO your azzz on a platter. Don't help them make their case against you. There is nothing wrong with asking a provider what her donation is for her 'time only' because within this time, she could be teaching me french, or math, or showing me how to do exercise- again- for her time!
I tell providers that they should put in their ad's what their donations are and to also say that the donation is for their time and companionship. In addition, they should say where they want you to place the donation and MOST importantly, they should say:
1. Once you enter my room, we will not discuss the donation for my time. The moment you do, I am going to ask you to leave- period!
If LEO decides to be slick and push her, she can let them she will call the police if they don't leave immediately!
The whole idea is: do not let them get you to say that the donation is for sex via: email, in person, text, sign language, or on phone! If they don't have a recording of such a conversation, neither will they have anything to be used against you!
Lastly, remember, if they decide to be pricks, remember your Miranda rights and don't say anything whatsoever until you get an attorney! They can trick you into saying anything!

I think some folks might have forgotten that at a time they too were new to this hobby we all enjoy so much and didn't know the proper etiquette. Just like with joining any forum you should always RTFF you are joining cause your questions have probably already been spelled out a few different times in the past, but it's nice when a senior member will take a few moments to pass on some good "job knowledge" for the new folks to help them and the ladies stay safe.

Its just frustrating for me how these providers won't learn the do's and don'ts of this craft. Unless they are going to check for listening devices on these clients, I highly recommend they never have the donation discussion in person. As I tell them, take all that crap language out of their ad's and put up nice real pix and put something of substance in the ad's. Guys are not so concerned about all the BS stuff they put in these ad's because most of them don't even live up to all the hype anyway! So put something in the ad's to save your butt!
To show you how ignorant they are, you ask them say,"what is your donation for your time?" or "what is donation to meet?"
They say,"Oh, I don't discuss that over the phone." Then in the next breath, instead of saying,"bring a raincoat in case it rains" they will instead say,"bring a condom before you come." Stupid! On the one hand, they say they don't trust telling you their rate because you might be Leo yet on the other hand you are telling Leo what you'e getting ready to do! Go figure!
BTW, when they ask you to bring a condom and you say you mean a raincoat but then they say,"no, a condom." What a give away!
