Just a simple query to ask whom does everyone identify as the handsdown best massage therapist (legit) there are in Honolulu considering their workplace atmosphere, customer service, attention to customers specific areas of attention, and most of all attitude. It would probably help to state that they are esp best in deep tissue or other comparative modalities to help work the deep knots us kane's experience alot that a simple Shiatsu won't do. Personally, I think that would be a good idea. If other places see that hobbyists are willing to accept a twenty-five percent increase in the standard price for a one-hour session, then some of them may decide to follow that pricing policy. Better to "nip it in the bud," especially at a time like this when economic conditions are unfavorable. By accepting that price increase, a hobbyist is effectively paying the same amount for four sessions that he would otherwise be paying for five sessions. I would rather have the extra session.

Well, here's a similar thought process, think of Perfect 10 as Waialae Country Club. You have to pay to play. I think a place like this is good to weed out mongers who dont want to pay going rate to bone perfect 10's. There's been a number of times I visited Lavendar, Nirvana etc only to here ms tell me stories of mongers who pay only $.20 for ts, fs, bj and pay $40 entrance. Stand in line and pay or step aside.

My 2 cents:

If the ladies charge near double at the "platinum parlors" than the standard parlors, they only have to do half the customers to make the same amount, right? That's okay for the girls, but the entrance fees (which I presume go to paying the rent and overhead) may not be enough to cover expenses. So those mamasans and owners better care about getting more traffic through the door. And, us mongers will either dwindle down about going there (cause they'll run out of money or once sampled move back to the cheaper places) or not care about the cost and continue frequenting these high end parlors. If the services are excellent and meets the expectations of the customer, maybe the charges are justified, however, it seems like in many instances what is being provided and the extras available does not merit the higher rates. Look into the Redbook to compare the quality of the providers versus what we get here. Also the rates are lower on the West Coast than it is here. The providers are really hot on the West Coast. Like they say buyer beware. There are various types of providers out there. They know that most men have their brains in the small head whenever they go to an AMP. When the juices start flowing and the hormones are stirred it usually means the customer looses all common sense and does not realize what hit him until he is outside on the sidewalk. I am not trying to preach to you guys but the truth is most of us me included get all worked up when we go into an AMP. I agree we should boycott or talk to the MS that the tariff for services are getting unaffordable and maybe as one suggested there should be something like a kamaaina rates for us locals. Another thing in closing, I remember years ago, whenever the Japanese tourist went looking for sex, they were willing to pay more, which in turn screwed us guys. Sometimes letting them know ahead of time (which is almost like prepaying) that they won't get what they want will lead to less than stellar service by them trying to prove a point. Often times in the past when I've paid $120 in advance because they forced the issue, service sucked. Too bad they are charging that way...

Myredbook reports on No Cal mongering activities and rates are cheaper if your looking at a half hour time you can easily pay anywhere from $.2 to $.6 but the hour time is about the same as here and the quality of girls you'll find in No Cal, imo, is about the same as here on the islands. No Cal is so spread out that you may find a cheaper amp in San Jose and another in the city. At least with the island of Oahu your within 5 miles of all known amp's.
