Well, That was Just Wrong!
Nobody is saying to overpay, which is why I laughed at Jake's story, but we should treat $100 as the minimum, not the maximum. When you go to a restaurant and the waitress is absolutely horrible, you can choose to tip absolutely nothing, but you still have to pay for the food. Same thing, a girl may act like a b-tch, but you still have to pay $100 for the FS. If they give you a great time, what's wrong with an additional $20? ".
$100 is NOT a minimum, nor is it a maximum. It is THE PRICE. I doubt that you go ahead and pay $4.00 a gallon for your gas when the pump price is $3.08, do you? How often have you given the gas attendant a tip? If the girl is acting the *****, you demand a refund or withhold part of the payment (with fair warning). If the food at the restaurant is bad you do NOT pay for it! DO NOT ENCOURAGE POOR SERVICE AND NEVER OVERPAY!
When you go into the 7-11 for a coke that is priced at $1.49 do you pay $2.00 just because you are such a nice guy?
Do NOT let your misplaced generosity mess up my budget!
Understand human nature! If enough of us start giving out a higher "tip" then the seller will begin to raise the price KNOWING the customer is still going to add an additional amount and so goes the price spiral up and out of reach.
IF you MUST give the girl something extra, make it something she can eat and share with the others! A simple bag or oranges will get you MUCH in return and it will not inflate the price for everyone else!
Go buy her a phone card so she can call Korea if she wants but DO NOT give any cash over the standard!
