If you look at the shops on 99 from about 128th (Everett city limits) to 164th (Lynnwood city limits) all of them but the Lucky Star place by the Tesoro are Korean and have been around for many years, in some cases decades. They are all there because since they are in unincorporated Snohomish County for whatever reason the Snohomish County Sheriff isn't that interested in busting those places and shutting them down. Shops in Everett or Lynnwood proper, by comparison, only last a few years at best (and sometimes just months) before being shut down.

This was very interesting, thank you. I always wondered why some of these places seem to get no attention at all, and that makes sense. I guess I figured that it was a "safety valve" for nearby large employers and so left alone as long as they ran a clean, quiet business.

I texted the number and they immediately sent the address to an apartment I've visited in Bellevue. But it now seems like they're trying their luck using a single more "upscale" ads on Eros. And yeah, those rates are crazy. But as has been discussed in a few places on this site, it seems like rates have gone up, even though there is the COVID-19 issue. While it has been mentioned that business for these women has slowed down, there are just too many clueless hobbyists out there who are willing to pay such ridiculous rates.
A couple of years ago, a Chinese "group" operated out of a decent condo in Tukwila. I suspect they had other locations, but the Tukwila condo was close. I did get lucky a few times there, but for more than 50% of my visits, it was disappointing. Not the condo itself, but the women I saw.
