I have been confused about something. Many of the girls say "No black Men". I was wondering if we have any black guys on here and how they feel about this and if anyone else here knows the reasoning behind this. Is it a preference thing with the girls or safety. I know Tiffany33 told me she doesn't see black guys because she is concerned for her safety because she once had an issue with a black guy but that seems to be a pretty wide brush to be painting with.

For some it is as you mentioned above, a bad experience. For others, it is a personal preference. You also have those that think they will get "low balled" just to name a few reasons. Personally, I don't get offended because there are other choices. It is not like I am being denied some critical service although at times a release seems critical. The "No Black Men" postings haven't made the hobby any more difficult for me. One of the things I have experienced is that some of the providers will make exceptions if they actually meet you.

If the provider has a Black BF, she may not want possible issues that could come up by seeing his friends for business. Same issue for unattached Black providers who may want to find a mate within their own community.

And a few Black providers simply prefer the company of respectful white men, inside the hobby or out.

I find it interesting that some ladies have Black men in their personal life but don't see them professionally. I have had great fun with nearly all of my Black clients. But I only see polite, personable clients of *any* color, so feeling "in danger" is usually not an issue. As far as er, size. I do find that men of color do seem to have an edge in that department, but as with anyone who has that gift, I just ask them to handle me with care. Problem solved. To quote my website.

I view each friend I meet as a gift to be opened and explored, and I'd lose out on many great experiences were I narrow-minded."

This rant has been coming for awhile now. I've found since re-introducing myself to the industry six weeks ago that many gentlemen have trepidations about seeing unknown or, as in my case, returning providers, and the reasons are readily apparent and understandable. What gets me so wound up is this. Ladies who are practicing unethical and reprehensible activities by "flipping" on clients. My opinion. Any lady who chooses to reap the benefits of this business is assuming a responsibility to be accountable for her actions. Period. My self, I have little to lose if I were to get myself into trouble. It's a lousy misdemeanor, for goodness sake. My clients have *much* more to lose than I do. Families, careers, reputation in the community. Why should I be selfish enough to put those things in jeopardy because I'm too much of a wuss to be accountable for my own behavior? I sympathize with those who might have certain areas of their lives that are threatened by possible legal consequences, like having small children, s. O. 's who don't know or even other criminal charges thay're afraid of facing, but damnit. We knew what we were risking when we started, did we not?

Maybe I'm wrong. All I know is that the quality of my business is suffering not just from leo activity in general but from the irresponsible behavior of some of my colleagues in particular. I'm concerned with not only my well-being but *also* the well-being for the client community. 'Nuff said.
