No magic, just money grabbing hands
This one has little in terms of demonstrable skills or experience. When a provider uses elbows only for the majority of the session than anything else it's a clear sign they haven't got a clue. I suspect if you're like me you'll know pretty early on that you're being bulshited. The only enthusiasm shown is for Tips and finishing early.
Shorts on time; not a good experience. That feeling of why the f did I bother.
Extras available but wouldn't go there, not worth the time or effort.
Good location and venue. In short, if you want to avoid ridiculous upselling and that familiar feeling of leaving a place very dissatisfied with someone that doesn't even bother to be polite or provide a basic service, suggest not to go.
Hit a new low in terms of service which I didn't think was possible in this area which is already pretty low.

Any Real Improvements At Jin's Old Place?
Decided to check out Jins old place to see what the fuss was about, and it does indeed look like she sold the spa to a Korean provider which adds another AMP to deck of cards already on gallows road.
TD,
Thanks for that very full and complete report. I was a customer of Jin's pre-Covid. Her place was convenient and inconspicuous. I only knew her place as providing legitimate Chinese massage in a somewhat Spartan environment. I was unaware if she had a shower, or even table shower facility in her place. I was never offered the opportunity to take one.
What I recall, however, is her Front Office always appeared untidy, with her desk littered with food, bills, letters, newspapers and magazines. I also recall the massage rooms were outfitted at minimal cost. Yes, the towels and sheets were clean, but the walls in the rooms did not go up to the ceiling. I cannot recall whether there were proper doors or just curtains separating the room from the small hallway. You could hear conversations between therapists over the piped in classical music.
So, what I want to know is whether Ms. Connie (or her "investors") have upgraded the place beyond a table shower room? Are there proper rooms with a decent level of privacy?
I appreciate you taking one for the team. It will be interesting to discover whether Ms. Connie and her incoming staff will become a gold standard full service KAMP.

Lucky Therapy on Kilworth?
Lucky Spa, Annandale.
I've reviewed before. Nothing new to report, just restating: For my monger money, Vicky provides the best deep tissue massage experience (always and ever).
Don't be in a hurry, and don't expect uncommon to NoVA menu items -- expect only a great massage experience.
Yes. I visit other places regularly (I am a monger) and I also report on those places (I am a monger who shares intel). As most know, a variety of experiences, like spices, is good for the appetite. When my appetite is for only-the-best, I visit Lucky Spa.
Always be nice to the ladies.
PA.
PA,
Thanks, again, for your review. I, too, appreciate a high quality massage session. Though I prefer Thai therapists, I have experienced great service at Korean places like Spa Sung. Though the therapists there are very professional, I find their HE to be too mechanical and akin to being jackhammered.
My question is can I coordinate an appointment at Lucky via text, or can it only be accomplished via telephone conversation? In my mind, telephone conversations can cause confusion due to the language barrier. And I never walk in for an immediate appointment, as that also causes confusion and awkward silence while waiting around in the lobby area.
I appreciate your fairness and depth and breadth of reporting. Thanks, again, for the vector to Lucky.
- Vaughn.
Yes, there was a table shower
You bring up some really fair points, of course now that most of my blood is flowing into my brain I can answer a little more accurately.
I thought the table shower looked clean and well furnished but the rooms are still the very same rooms they were with Jin.
I think the place overall is very minimalist in nature. Definitely not immaculate like you would find at Spa Sung for instance. Rooms did have doors though if I recall, so, the curtains are gone. However specifically the room I was in had an open window that was adjacent to the front desk. And the only veil for said window was a cheap set roller shades.
Truthfully when I went to visit Connie it was in the evening when everyone else in the building had gone home; since we were alone I wasn't really worried about the idea of people listening and / or walking in us during the *cough* ahem. Massage.
But yes, if there is a scenario where they're multiple girls servicing customers throughout the day with thin walls surrounded by legitimate businesses I can foresee this becoming a problem unless Connie does some serious redecorating.
Jin installed a table shower years ago. Back in the old TMR days, she tried to keep up with times. Recall one or two times she washed me. It was always covered with a small towel. Some parts were not touched. Think there was also a stand up shower.
Anyway, after a few TS it seemed off the table, so to speak.
Apple with a little Honey
I see Apple in Tysons is offering 4 hands with a provider named Honey. Anyone met this provider at Lincoln? Details?
Honey is the wonderful individual that typically handles Apples scheduling. I've never received a massage from her, however, thru text she is as kind as Apple is voluptuous. Met her one time in passing. Didn't realize she was entering the playing field. Good to know.
The board provides valuable information, but one must use it effectively. Before venturing out, the most important thing is to decide what you want to get out of your dream. For me I like different flavors depending on the day. If massage is more important to me than the HE, then I'll pick a provider I know will give me a real professional massage. If I'm horny and just need to bust a nut in some girl, then I have providers for that as well. It really depends on the kind of mood I'm in and that's how I maximize the success of my visit. Knowledge is power.
Most independent Thai masseuses are escorts first and foremost. If you are going to Lisa for instance it's not for the massage.
She is a sweet girl but who like most in her predicament has no formal education in the US. She went to school in Thailand (not for massage) but those vocational skills do not transfer over as easily in America so escorting becomes the only lucrative alternative when you got mouths to feed and need to pay for the roof over your head.
She's only 30 so she's much younger than some of the mainstay independent Thais here, but she shouldn't be your go to for massage. KK and Candy I would argue are the reverse Lisa. They pride themselves on giving a good massage and provide extras only as means to keep you coming back. I've never had a problem with her attitude and I've dealt with my fair share of sour experiences, but put yourself in their shoes for a moment. When you're getting fucked upwards of 10 times a day, 6 days a week.
By men of all ages / sizes / odors / and all the quirky or pushy personalities in between, let's see how polite you'd be at the end of the day.
Burnout and exhaustion is a very real thing for these girls, and the train will never stop. Nor can we control its destination. But we can choose the right train that will take us home.
Every river ends with me. -TD.
TheDrowned, this is one of the best realistic reviews I have read to-date. It really does put in perspective what these ladies go through to feed their families overseas or here in NOVA. Upward of 10 times a day, 6 days a week with all types of ages, odors, pushy personalities? That's reality and would make anyone think twice about how these women make a living. A few of my regulars have opened up to me and told me stories about being robbed by "newbies" and even pepper spraying some aggressive guys. That's why I always try to be respectful. Always. Again, great review.
