I had a weird experience recently. I set up an appointment the evening before a morning visit. We agreed I will call / text when I was on the way to the general location and she would send me the address.
I sent a text asking if I could come a little early. That was followed by a back and forth where she became convinced I was a robot (bot). After 4-5 exchanges, I gave up and texted her to have a good life.
Have any of you had this experience?

I've been accused of being a bot before. I just picked up the phone and make a call. This solves several problem quick. It's also part of my safety check. Actually in general you should not get confirmation for services offered, you are setting your self up to get busted by LEO.
You are much better off just looking at reviews and going with providers that have multiple reviews and better yet the reviewers have multiple reviews.
All I ever say to a provider over the phone or text is some version of I would like to meet you. If they start asking questions about services, hang up.
If you start asking those questions, most providers assume you are LEO.
