But if your interested in a little more privacy you can purchase an online visa gift card, and use that for seeking. Its what I did for one month of sign up. It also has the benefit of preventing them from continually charging you if you forget to cancel.

The issue with Seeking is the tie-in to your profile and here there are two scenarios.
A data breach of SA's card processor will presumably not expose your profile no more than a data breach of any retail store's card processor would expose that store's accounts.
The other scenario is a breach of SA itself, in which case we don't know whether SA stores card numbers. If they're smart about it, they're processing charges as subscriptions and have no need to save card numbers, as the case with many retailers to limit liability. Monthly re-billing happens automatically by the card processor; SA is not rerunning the card. On the other hand, a data breach of SA is far more likely to expose profile user names and passwords (rather than card numbers) which is a separate problem not related to the question at hand.

This is ok when I am using the computer but if someone else in my house was using it I would be embarrassed.
Any advice how to prevent this?

Thnks CM.[/QUOTE]Pop-up messages happen only when logged-on. When you finish visiting Seeking be sure to log off. Not just close your browser but actually log off. It's that simple.
Also, when you (are logged on and) receive a pop-up, I believe there's an option to click on the pop-up window to turn them off, if I remember correctly.

I use a dedicated iPad for all of my hobbies and hide all of my fake app accounts in the extra app on my devices. I search the sites only when I am certain I am in a secure situation. You should have dedicated email, text or other apps used for communication and they should not have any of your real info that leads to the real you.

The problem, as I see it, is that dishonest people always have the upper hand. Let's say that one is in her apartment and the $500 has been passed over. Then, a big man shows up and threatens violence. There are a few guys on this site who know how to handle a threat, but I am not one of them. Nor would an encounter that might result in the presence of law enforcement be worthwhile. In fact, I would gladly forgo $500 rather than involve LEO.
That is why reviews matter. Real reviews that involve actually seeing the gal.

Coffee dates are the best for meet and greets as it's low risk and then make a date for an outcall at a hotel for the first time. You have more control of the situation and if she decides to flake her real intentions are exposed. Don't check in until she arrives either.
I know it hard to resist sometimes but if you read these posts you see a common denominator. Paying first smells like a rip-off. Good luck next time and we have all been there so just keep trying.

Option 1: FS for 200.
Option 2: BBFS for 250.
Option 3: BBFS w/ Anal for 300.

The best advice I can give and what previous posters have already mentioned, never give money upfront. Just don't do it. Anyone that asks for money upfront is a scammer. I made this mistake once years ago. I will never make that mistake again knowing that one simple rule.

Regardless. At some point money is discussed (whether its at the M&G or before). This would be the time to utilize this approach. When I wrote my original post I assumed I didn't need to add the obvious disclaimers (establish rapport, don't frame it as a choice / ultimatum, remember not to be hyper logical, etc). But I guess I'll state it explicitly for those less savvy at using their soft skills.
