Did anyone who keeps tab on the arrests notice the 3 girls in the released list today all arrested at the same time for 'loitering for drug purposes' ? All three look above average for the usual SW type suspects we have around town. They're all ones who fit into my interest category. I wonder if these girls hang around Bessemer since one of them was from there.

Hard to believe they are street walkers. I do wonder exactly where they were picked up. They were not taken to the bessemer jail which suggests they were closer to Birmingham.

They were all released early this morning. Even the one that had something on her whose bond was roughly $7000.

Well, unless they were hanging out at the fountain on Southside or something looking for some pot, I can't think of any other reason they'd be arrested for such a thing. How else do you prove they were loitering for drug purposes unless they were propositioned asking if they wanted to buy something ?

Probably not the fountain on southside as i believe the county picked them up. Not the city.

I bet it could be something like they were sitting in a car somewhere out of the way, where they had no business being and the sheriff pulled up.

And they don't have to prove anything to arrest them, just suspect it.

Kind of like in my younger years, we would hang out and drink beer on a quiet street somewhere. Had we been doing dope, the charge could have been loitering for drug purposes.

On the way home Wednesday PM, I stopped at the Chevron north of Graysville on 78. An older brunette lady (well, early 50s maybe) came over and ask me for a buck or two for gas. I normally blow off such a request, but she gestured that she and her friend (standing on the other corner of the station) were getting gas money. So I gave two bucks and they walked around the corner of the gas station. I drove around and barely got stopped before they were both in my car. You know, that girl Amber has been around there for almost a year now, even though I've yet to see her out on the stroll at all in that time.
