I tell them you are either a pro or a dead end and it sends them packing. I'm sure there are exceptions but I'm trying to limit wasted time. I'd say close to 100% of my good successes have moved straight to text.

You will get a text / call from him claiming he is her father and is going to report you to the local (insert name here) police department. But for about 400-800 dollars he can make this all go away. Some of the better scams you will get a call from detective XYZ and they are able to spoof an actual police dept number if you Google it. This is a common scam and is run in almost every city. Best thing to do is don't respond, report and block.
