Making a long story short.

We are on this, our site admin says that it should now be cleared up. The issue arose because we were trying to stay cutting edge and allow advertisers to host their own banners so they could manage them themselves (in case they wanted to change them daily). This created an exploit that some douches tried to use for a java exploit. We have sanitized the site, and disabled the self hosting code. It means I have to do a lot more work changing banners, but if it makes the site safer for you guys A2 is always ready to help out.

I saw it pop up a few days a go but didn't allow it to run.

Dragon also has a incognito mode so all you're information is not stored which makes it a bit safer.

Watch out for the ransomware that's rampid out there, it will encrypt your data and hold you hostage until you pay to decrypt it and there's not way to fit it once it's encrypted except to restore from a good backup.

Okay, I know this has been discussed before, but I need to get a monger phone. Problem is that there seems to be a registration process. Now anyone can make up a name but my question is, do they ask for a drivers license to verify the info you give? If I register online, even with a false name it could be traced back to the computer, right?

You can go in, buy your Net10 phone and your minutes, then go outside to the pay phone to activate it. You can also buy the phones at WalMart, KMart or Taget. What makes it different.

Anyone know if using the Pinger app for Smart phones is safe? Texting is free and you can get minutes for making calls for it, also you can get free minutes just for watching ad videos. Thinking of using it so I don't have to buy prepaid minutes for my throw away phone!

Also the issue with not receiving texts from Iphones! I had that same issue and I could not get in contact with my ATF due to that issue.

Had to switch phones.

I think that your first sentence is the remedy. As long as you use your smartphone (who doesn't have a smartphone nowadays) Google voice or other apps work great. You won't need to carry around a 2nd phone. Delete all texts online, at the same time you are deleting the history of the recon that you should be doing.

As far as changing your number, I think they charge you to do it. If you are going to change your number that you have used for references, (which I am guessing people do with throwaway phones) it would be smart to let those that you may repeat with know your # is going to change. Or be even safer and get a p411 or DC acct and let that be your reference.

It lets you send unlimited text messages from a number that the app creates. The app also lets you make call through it but only gives you 10 free minutes and after that you can buy 99 minutes for $1.99.

If you have a SO hanging around then I would disable notifications and hide the app in a folder, otherwise you can delete the app and re-download it anytime because the app saves all of the data you previously had.

I understand better now, I use it on a smart phone thus don't seem to have the PC issues. To me it works functionality wise like my net10 did. I'm sure the NSA has all text and voice calls anyway so I'm SOL no matter what I use. LOL.

If you have a standard greeting that plays your actual number, the caller will hear it.

FYI, your smart phone will hold all that google voice data too. Lots of times that info has been used in divorce litigation to prove infidelity. Go with the garbage phone. You can get basic service with Metro for $25/ month. If you don't go to a corporate store, you can give them any name you want.

Then you're paying 25 a month which is 300 a yr. That is coming out of the Monger fund. Plus you have to hide a strange phone from a SO if you fall into that category. Had major issues with google voice on my android. Mainly because I have multiple gmail accounts. Personal, and play. Be sure you're using the correct one. Also. My concern was not taking calls from google users that have their own number, but those who use their PC and the default number shows on Caller I'd. Always better safe than sorry. Any weirdo can hide behind a default, unknown or blocked number.

Most guys on here treat women with respect if not they are the girls black list them on their phones but when a guy threatens and rants and raves and controls and stalks particularly with young impressionable girls that is a whole new disgusting level, this business is tense enough for everyone involved without creeps like him slithering around.

He's gone now and I pray another one does not turn up on here.

Now this is the kind of information that I wish knew. It is very difficult to figure out who you can listen to or share information with. There are several of you out there that I have been given a specific stamp of approval of from some trusted providers. The same holds true in reverse. I've been vouched for by several lovely ladies when the need arised. But knowing that CTL and GM were one and the same, or that CTL was that type of person is new news to me. I've heard some stories from Ashley M, Sexy S, and Mallorie be that were eye opening to say that least. Not only that this is out there, but from members of the board. I know that a flame war of epic proportion would ensue if a general scumbag post were made, but there ought to be a way to make this information public.
