Would you mind sharing some local NOVA / DC area hotels that allow same day cancellation till 6 pm?
Just go to Hotels.com, Booking.com or Hoteltonight.com as someone else suggested, right when you are selecting you room, it will state the terms or click on the link to see the terms. It various from town to town, even same hotel in same town will have variability on cancellation charges depending on how fully booked they are that evening.
Update 3: Alexisprincess1992 Thieving Wh*re Wild Goose Chase II
So here's an update, after a lot of apologizing and bumping up the M&G to $700, she reached out to set up a meet this evening at 6 pm. At 5:30 pm, I send the usual, 'I'm on my way'. At 6:15 pm, she asks where I am and I say 'Stuck in 495 traffic', coincidentally there was a horrible accident and traffic jam on 495 right by the Dulles Toll Rd so was able to send her a screenshot of Google Maps showing the traffic jam. I keep going back and forth with her until 7 pm at which point I say, 'I'm here, where are you? We go back and forth until 7:15 pm but she get wise pretty quick and radio-silence. So between the two wild goose-chases, I would say I managed to get her for 2. 5 hours of time.
So please, if any of you run into her, you know what she looks like (at least the photos she sends) and her MO, pick up where I left off and string her along. These are the cell numbers she uses: 571-XXX-5510 and most recently 571-XXX-7728.

Avoiding hotel cancellation fees

That way no risk of a wasted hotel fee.
Come on guys, it's not this difficult.
Any intel on this one?
Looks TGTBT but she wants to meet.
Check her "Recent" login. Says she's in Mauritius. She's clearly scamming you, bro.
Girlover1 - Most Likely Scammer

Google her photo and you know it's a fake pic.
She favorited me. Messaged her and she asked if I want to meet. Gave her my digits to text but got lackluster response from her. Then out of the blue I got a text from a unknown number saying she is so and so from SA and we had talked etc. I got the feeling that this unknown person has to do with girlover1. Anyway, I told this unknown person and I don't know her and I'm not interested. Not sure what the MO is but I don't intend to waste my time to find out.
It was my turn today. Set up a meeting at 5 pm at a Bar Louie "right near my house. " Got "caught in traffic" and wasn't going to get there until 5:20/5:30. She told me to text when I got there and she'd come over to the bar. So, I texted her, but don't think she actually went. Was able to string her along until about 5:45. The whole time, I was on a M&G that went really well. So, it was time well spent!
Excellent, appreciate the effort.
