Both places have reputations as being "are and T" places, not sure why they were busted other than the fact that it's less than 3 weeks to Election Day.

They sold out to Times Mirror, then many years later, were sold again to the Chicago Tribune. The new fangled thing, called the internet, years later put a spike into the heart of the industry. Dwindling ad revenue, then later, free-falling circulation. Theses days, they no longer print their own paper. It done in Springfield, MA. Decades of "new management".
