I just did it yesterday. I used the non-reloadable OneVanilla prepaid debit card. One thing. I tried to use it in the first hour or so after purchase. It failed. I checked the balance, sufficient funds were there. The next morning, I tried again and it went through fine. Give it some time.

A majority of the experiences here have had success with OneVanilla. But hey if that doesn't work, just use your regular CC as that should go through!

What I found is a card that looks very much like OneVanilla but it is called SecureSpend.
Upon further research it seems that OneVanilla and SecureSpend are same company with different websites - [URL]https://securespend.com/[/URL] and [URL]https://onevanilla.com/[/URL].
How so? Look at 'Where to Buy" at both sites and they have the same address. PO Box 826, Fortson, GA 31808.

I could not find any OneVanilla card in several CVS or Vons. Just saw a lot of Vanilla Visa or Mastercard.

I have indeed seen the SecureSpend cards, they have the same packaging as OneVanille, in that the plastic window is vertical rather than horizontal. I have personally used SecureSpend to get SA membership in the past, perhaps 8 months ago.

Perhaps we should use OneVanilla / SecureSpend so people know that either would work.
