For instance, a SB sends you her pic, what sites do you use for a reverse search of the pic, to see if the pic is real, or is being used other places, etc, or maybe get a lead on their fb / insta / whatever page? I'd even pay for the service, if it was good, so it doesn't necessarily have to be a free service. Just whatever site / service anyone uses for that stuff.

I've had several SBs who either used profile pics or texted me ones that I ultimately found on social media, but google couldn't find them. Was able to Sherlock Holmes my way to the IRL identities and checked socials to learn more about them.
I used to use Tineye, but not sure that works on social media anymore either.

It helps ferret out the fakes, occasionally. If you can find them on fb or insta, then chances are they are at least real. And get some idea of what they are like. Maybe in your neck of the woods you have an abundance of real chicks that are game. That's not always the case everywhere. I can't total the amount of time I've wasted texting with profiles that are fake, or string along and then right before meeting, want $$ upfront.
"Connecting" and communicating through text is just horrible, and 20 year olds hate to talk on the phone. So if I can find out a little bit about them prior to meeting, it might help. Can't really hurt. And I've got the time to do it, if I want.

It's 2022 even the cheapest cell phones have good cameras, if a girl is being dodgy about photos or has photos that look like they were taken with a potato I just stop engaging. Funny crops or photos with borders or black / white edges and / or low resolution are a good clue the photos are just stolen screen shots of photos. It's easy to rule 95% out without any research.

I try to get them to text ASAP and those that want to chat or mess around won't do that. From there, I don't worry about those who play games as, for me, that is just part of the game and the price of admission. Got to put up with a few fakes and flakes here and there.
