When I was junior I used to do crazy shit at work, but its a different world now and you can get hit with complaints even by others seeing you do something even if not directed at them, but I never worried about finding another position as a junior level staff, if your more senior though and have family to worry about that should give you pause.

Just because she doesn't direct report to you, but one of your subordinates you can still influence things through them so it would be high risk WHILE SHE IS INTERNING. If any intern, either male or female gets caught in a relationship with a regular employee outside of work both are terminated immediately. This also includes junior and senior partners and the BOD's as well. In addition to termination, any future references will include the statement "terminated for unsatisfactory performance relating to employment". My company has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to this stuff.

You need to decide if your current and future jobs are worth losing and possibly receiving a bad reference. If she is done in May and no longer an intern, then wait another month and see what happens.

Both parties have been let go, so someone is out a job and a relationship. As I chime in, I will say there has been some very good advice given already.

IMHO, you will not only be playing with fire, but also radioactive material.

There will be a ZERO % chance that she will keep any type of relationship or encounter discreet. Not only that, but after your encounter, she will be hanging around your office / desk / work area, much more than normal or more than she should be. She will not be able to act any other way. Also, since she is fine as hell, everyone in your entire office, already has eyes on her all day, and they will especially notice her hanging around and giving you the "look."

The only way this would even remotely work, is after she leaves your company, and is already gainfully employed elsewhere for a period of time. You would still have to be extremely cautious however, because odds are, she was able to get a job at your company as an intern, because she knows someone there outside of normal work.
