I have driven the stoll -- S. Broad, S. Clinton, even MLK a few times over the past couple of weeks. It has been absolutley dead.

In fact the truth is pretty much the opposite.
There was an all night arts festival last Saturday right in the heart of the stroll. Let me suggest that the presence of several thousand families at the corner of Dye, S. Clinton and S. Broad isn't exactly compatible with mongering.
That said, there has been a sweep yet one of my regulars was working Saturday afternoon on S. Broad.

Trenton, nj It is what is DRY IN TRENTON! Camden right now is crushing on my hometown. Just met up with a thick girl off bway got some great dome by the waterfront. And her number.

Unfortunately, the cameras have now become a pathetic tool for "Big Brother watching" with pea brain Trenton cops and Police Depatment with nothing better to do than monitoring and harassing any car that passes onm S Clinton more that 1-2 times.
All this is messed up. As such cameras should never be used to "spy" on us. This is all so un American. The cameras should role. And if there is suspicion of terrorism, then they should act on it. Otherwise, the tapes should go into a vault and only used to solve very serious crimes when needed.

That was unfortunate. She would have never called the cops.
However, let us say she did. What are the ramifications? I know none of this is worth the trouble of $200 but only for argument sake.
1. They would NEVER believe that you raped especially after you tell them that stole $200 and they searched her and find the money.
2. They may charge you and her with prostitution. So that would be a deterrent to her unless she is an absolute nut case.
3. I think had you explained to her no. 2 above, she would have given you back the money.
Any thoughts?
I'm essentially 100% certain that the only way I would get my money back was to beat the crap out of her -- and then I really would go to jail! It just wasn't worth it. Anyway, it was my own stupid fault. Not protecting your money from these girls is just moronic. Even the very best of them will jump at an opportunity too good to be true.

Bruce[/QUOTE]Yes, it was not a good idea leaving your money in front of her when you were in the shower. Typically, you should always be aware of where her hands are and then get rid of her and later have a shower. God only knows what else she could have taken.
However, she is the one who wronged you and committed the crime here. Of course, as enticing and justified was beating the crap out of her, we unfortunately we cannot do that in a so-called society. My point was had you explained to her that when the cops come and find the money on her, the worst you would have gotten was a prostitution charge but she would have gone to jail on theft charges, she would have given you the money.
In any case, you took a "headache" free option and lost $200. No big deal. Cops, with their many groupies and little hard-ons, are never your friends. The only time they are useful is when someone attacks you first. In all other cases, they are your worst enemies.

I'm going to be in Philly for a couple days and I have read alot of good things about Camden in the past & figured I would check it out for what its worth, so my question is; Is Camden worth the detour?
From past post some of you have mentioned certain streets & landmarks in the areas of activity, but ya'll also said its not the safest of areas, thats not a problem for me I've been to many crazy neighborhoods in the past and know to keep my eyes peeled, windows cracked, doors locked, money hidden & jewels out of sight (but why would I wear any lol)!
Is Camden's stroll the same as past reports? If any of you have any info on where to look & what to look out for let me know, I don't want to go make a wrong move.

[/QUOTE]Most Camden reports and CookyJar pics are in the South Jersey thread, that's where you ought to look. The main Camden stroll is Broadway between the Bus Station and Morgan. It's usually active 24/7, SW prices are reasonable, and there are often (but not always) a few good choices available.
As you mention having heard, Camden is a dangerous place, more ghetto than Philly's K. But if you've mongered in other shaky areas, you just need to take the usual precautions. IMO it's definitely worth crossing the bridge from Philly to take a ride down Broadway.
Thanks Mike 80, I will check out the S Jersey thread for more Camden info, I will be heading to Philly for more business trips in the future so if you thin crossing the bridge is worth it, I take your word! I've done some shaky areas like Newark, Philly, Ivrvington, East NY bk, Sulphin Ave QZ, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, I keep my eyes peeled for it all, lol, can't trust no area!
