I believe there is a Vanilla card AND a OneVanilla card. The later is the one I used to re-up. As the warning on SA states not all gift cards will work with their system, so I think one's got to use the OneVanilla one. Sometimes the funds aren't immediately available and one needs to wait 24-hrs before using the card.

Please note that last year I bought One Vanilla by mistake one time and it did not work for me. I usually used Vanilla Visa giftcard and it worked perfectly until this month. I have been tried 2 different Vanilla $100 Visa giftcards with verified available fund but neither of them work. SA did not accept any of the two cards.

Another Scammer, was quick to text, quick to accept gift and then wanted to know how I pay. Cash isn't good, only Cashapp or Venmo.

All I can report is that around T-Day I re-upped and again, re-upped, after Christmas using the OneVanilla Card. Only problem I had was trying to use the card "too soon" and getting rejected by SA. But next day it went through fine.

Other thing I have seen is: try to pay and IF that fails, email Tech Support. They aren't fast getting back to you, but eventually they do and perhaps can help get you paid up? Incentive is certainly there to collect the money before helping some dude who can't figure out his profile.

Not sure if it is "required" or even a step, but I did sign on to the OneVanilla website, entered the card details and checked the balance as a way to kind of "activate" the card before trying to use it. Probably a useless step, but just reporting what I did.
