They're opening tomorrow. Will charge a $5 cover starting at 2 pm. No word on how it will be setup. You won't be required to wear a mask, but the bartender will.
Haven't really heard anything about the other clubs. Agora is open, but I haven't visited. I just hate the smell of cigarettes. I don't know how I use to be a smoker.

Toledo, which was never that great in terms of bang for the buck will be worse for a while. OTC is the only reason to visit. Our northern clubs though, many are picking up right where they left off. Not all, but most. And no, Agura is not North. Hamilton type clubs.

Was also told they have a dress code if you don't meet they won't let you in. No white tees, baggy clothes, motorcyle attire and a couple other things.

So many states, including our fun clubs to the north, have been shut down again. Ohio likely soon, so if you have an itch better go get it scratched now.

There is a eviction notice posted on the door. Landlord has taken possession of the building.

Probably not a good sign there. If he cannot pay rent at plat he cannot pay the remodelers and a lean will be put on the building / business. Something tells me the owner does not plan well, IE spends it as fast as he makes it.

I even talked to one about it. One of the former managers from Platinums posted on social media times for the girls to get all their shit, because they wouldn't be opening. I think a few have went North to Agora.

Hell they even hung an electronic sign on the side of the old Scarletts with Platinum ads while they were working on the remodel. To be clear though, this is Scarletts on Telegraph. Not the old Scarletts/Diamonds on Rt 2 in Oregon.
As for the comment of not being able to pay for the remodel, fair call out. Clearly they abandoned the old location given the evection notices posted. Was not simply a situation of the lease running to maturity. From there you can attempt to draw conclusions. In the end it is not a good thing for Toledo clubs as Plat was the best of the bunch. Now that is not saying a lot as Toledo does not have a great pool of clubs to compare with. Who knows Covid may claim another club as well before it is all over. Over the past 5 or so years we have lost (and not replaced) TSG, Marylins/Pole Kats, Lux, Whatever the one next to Jeds was called, Deja Vu, The Palms, Scarletts Rt2/Diamonds and now Plat/Scarletts. I will list that as Plat/Scarletts as in the end there will likely be one of the two still there.
