I understand, I definitely wasn't defending my mistake or saying that I would do it again. I'm not new to the hobby itself, but I'm new to seeking. Something about the exchanges made me feel more comfortable than other types of sites, so I dropped my guard and didn't apply the same rules as I normally would. I was feeling things out, and now I know. I definitely have zero plans on sending anything before a meet ever again.

Some good ideas on how to NOT pay upfront.

A rules refresher is always good and we have all made mistakes in this hobby. Hopefully, we all learn from our mistakes and move on so that we don't repeat it again. This is why the board is so valuable and the sharing of intel is what makes this work. This board has saved me lots of money and headaches.

I have had a couple scammers hit me up today. If it seems like someone is using a translator but claim to be in Philly I've been asking "What's your favorite chz stk place?" Any American girl in a 40 mile radius will understand that abbreviation, But a translator site / app will not figure it out. You're welcome.

I talked to this one for quite some time cause our schedules weren't really working out. That's the issue when you've got 3 kids I guess (her, not me). She wants to meet up ASAP and can drive or meet you at a hotel but that's not a good thing. Basically she wants to see how much money she can get out of you for as little fun as possible. With her it's how can she maximize her gains while giving as little as possible. I offered hosting but she said the distance and drive meant she spent so much time lost so she'd have to see me for less time. Then we decided on a hotel on dayuse closer to her and she basically treats you like a pro. Wants to limit the time to a certain number of hours, just one pop, "(she) might not even last 2 hours."
