For all the time Allie has been on STG, 2-3 years, I never read anyone mentioning her deposit or cashapp request. I probably saw her 7-8 times over two years and she never mentioned it to me. She was Not an outright thief in my experience.

As a transplant who's hobbied in other areas (mostly west coast), it's been much more work to find providers that are good + safe + lowish volume with reasonable rates. It may sound like a lot to ask, and perhaps I'm just spoiled, but dayum there's a lot more noise and non-starters to sift out.

That's why I usually ask when I feel comfortable that they are comfortable.

Social media is also a good resource since most of these providers are friends with each other and quite often they just show up in my friend suggestions.
