Has anyone else notice that there will be lots of end of month activity, with lots of girls logging in and then right after the first or so, you don't see them log in again or respond to a message for weeks at a time? I used to think that SA was filled with lots of fake accounts, managed by staff, but maybe it's just girls trying to pay their rent? And once they get it, they're nowhere to be found.
I feel like men have gotten hip to the game and very few of these girls actually know how or have any interest in being a real sugar baby. Who knows. However, the site isn't nearly as cool or fun as it used to be a few years ago. I just upgraded my account again after a long break and I almost immediately regretted it.
Be safe out there gents!
I've not, for what it's worth, seen any indication that the site or its staff fake accounts. Their business model is not such that this benefits them very much, unlike SB, because you don't pay per message.
I'd wager what you've noticed is just that: they needed cash to pay rent. I got a message from a girl I hadn't spoken to in weeks yesterday saying specifically that (and then claiming she was having car trouble, and needed money to fix it, and seemed baffled when I offered to instead pay for her uber to come here and earn that money).
As for those who appear and then disappear: I think we might bear the brunt of that to an extent. I've been on there long enough to hear some INCREDIBLE horror stories from people I trust, even seen the actual messages. One girl I talked with told of a guy who reached out and was making small talk, asking about her puppy, its name, asking for pictures. Then insisted she send pictures of her having sex with the dog. I looked at her profile start date and she'd been on the site all of three days; she said "yeah, that was literally day one." She eventually, and with copious apologies, said she just couldn't do it and left the site; it's hard to blame her. Another girl had a malodorous 60 year old man finger her under the table during a meet and greet, no warning. And another discovered that what she thought was an arrangement was her getting groomed to be some sort of gift for a decrepit millionaire septuagenarian. And, frankly, the story in this very thread a few pages back of demanding pictures of a girls' whereabouts without warning creeps me right the fuck out.
We get ghosted constantly and get asked for "money to fix her car" every third message. But what they're seeing is fucked up on a whole 'nother level, and sadly, I think a lot of really fantastic potential SBs run for the hills on day one.
This one was asking for 2 k for a car thing.
You should have said "No weird offers please".

You know, after writing my message out of a bit of frustration last night, a part of me regretted it. I, too, have heard some horror stories, but what you just described is on another planet. And what's worse, is that I completely believe them. A recent encountered that was described to me involved a recent divorcee demanding that a woman spend time with him. And when she brought up compensation, he had a complete meltdown. 'All women want is money!' Those sort of messages continued for days, even when she stopped responding. When I asked her why she didn't block / report him, she said that she knew he was in a bad place and she felt bad for him. And I simply said to her, 'You two met on a sugaring site. He knows what he signed up for. It's not your job to be his friend, especially not for free. '.
I hate that the people who don't know how to behave had sort of soiled the whole experience. Sugaring was something I used to really look forward to when I had to travel for work. Now it's something different, and I don't believe it could go back to what I first experienced.

One local guy is giving massages and cooks for them but not any financial help. Not a bad gig I guess as I know one he has seen more than once is quite the catch, but she only gets the rub and fingers LOL. Others be sees go all in though.

My response was "uh, yeah, I know what site I'm on" and confusion, but several clarified and said they get a bunch of people who literally think it's a regular dating site.

A lot of these women are not sugar babies, and that's fine, they're women with real world responsibilities that need solutions. Having to dig through guys who want to cook for them or give them massages is just ruining the platform. I don't dig the idea of being an ATM, however, I'm not at all upset about picking up someone's expensive textbook if it's crucial to a class. Offering to make someone baked ziti when you're on a sugaring site is just insulting.

Kicked off SA
Have been on SA for years. LOTS of great experiences. Long term friends. Travel. Crazy orgies. Threesomes. Public fun. You name it.
3-4 weeks ago, had an encounter with a GPS and I think she turned me in for soliciting or something. SA blocked me. That had happened once or twice in the past and I just signed up.
Now, SA "knows" who I am via IP or something. Anyway around this? I'm single so a bit sloppy with personal informationa nd credit cards. Need to tighten that up.

Vpn
VPN should work to get around that.
I heard they monitor certain words and acronyms. So be careful.
I've heard something similar. But that they occasionally 'scan' inboxes for certain keywords. And if you get flagged, then your inbox will be combed through looking for infractions against the TOS.

I've had 2 girls I've seen tell me about the massage guy now and they've both raved about how amazing he is. They hang out at his house and have sex with him and spend the night just because they like him. Apparently he does quite well on the site. If the guy's got that much game I say more power to him. I could only wish to get girls like that for free.

In my area, which is a much smaller metro area in comparison, a lot of the girls are on SA for a very specific reason. And while I've definitely had some SB's flip over to straight up FWB with no financial expense, it still started as initially intended. However recently, I've started to run into more and more women who've agreed to see a guy and at the end of the date, he'll say, 'oops, I only have 50 bucks. ' or half the agreed upon amount, etc. So the girls are starting to make people jump through hoops. That's why I eventually went to the Greensboro market, and I'm starting to see it there as well.
Then again, I also like SA because I can dictate my fantasies. But like you said, more power to that guy!
