I believe the whole thing was set in motion by him observing from afar her and I leaving the area where our date went down and then he went fishing for one or both of us to mess up and give a reason to make the bust, I didn't give him a reason but she did. I've had dates with SW at that spot before but never during daytime hours, needless to say I will NEVER go to that spot again.

If I DID NOT consent to the cop searching my vehicle what would happen next? Would I be detained until a k9 unit showed up for a sniff search? As I said in my initial report, I watched her very closely and was reasonably sure she didn't stash anything in my rig. Maybe I shouldn't have given permission to search, but I'm guessing when the search was finally done after getting proper authorization then that is when a few dope pills or a dime of crack would have been placed in my rig by the LE then I would have been fucked anyways so I took my chances and let him search. This was certainly an unpleasant experience with LE and I hope she comes out of it reasonably ok, I feel pretty fortunate it didn't end worse for me. What if SO opens it? Do you really have a leg to stand on? When I was stopped I thought it best to cooperate even though I knew it was unconstitutional or not right. Was cruising the Ave (Kensington Ave) early on a Monday morning. Approx 530 am. Made a left turn down a "known" side street where SWs inhabit. My mistake was not using a turn signal. I'm not a legal expert, but I believe that visible probable cause allows them to search without a warrant. Perhaps probable cause would include smelling weed, seeing needles or a burnt spoon, or something like that.

No weed smell, no needles, no paraphanelia (sp). They pretty much can do as they please. That two minute turned into almost an hour in Aberdeen. That was one pissed off copper when he saw I didn't have shit. I was actually afraid of the possibility that I could be setup. Only thing I could do is be as polite as I could possibly be and not anger them.
