" Seriously I would love to see the peer reviewed article published in a medical journal that confirms these numbers.

It's the mysterious LTR (Long Term Effects) claim for a disease that hasn't been around long enough to have any blind studies showing what possible LTR's there might be.

As to the economic fallout there are 150,000,000 people working right now, the Bureau of Labor Statistics says that around. 1% of the workforce is absent every day so that's 1.5 million absent from work everyday and the economy doesn't even notice.

All these articles are the same, if you just scratch them the slightest bit they all fall apart. This is nothing but fear mongering propaganda.

Just because he questions govt statements from time to time doesn't make him a conspiracy theorist. I agree with him on many counts, since CDC has been off their game a bit. Problem with his statistics is you can't get 1% sick. You either get sick (and maybe die or get permanent damage), or you don't. There was a 55 year old guy in NYC that was a frequent marathon runner who succumbed to covid and no doubt that was a tragity to his family. The problem with people who post this sort of thing is you are treating it as if it's widespread and common when in fact it is extremely rare for a 41 year old person to die of covid. Then when somebody says "hey, the overall survival rate for covid 19 across all age groups and all medical conditions is 99.74% and that number comes directly from the Center for Disease Controls" somehow they are a conspiracy theorist and taking advice from their plumber.

The chart below is from the CDC, it's shows the distribution of deaths by age for every covid death between Feb 1 and July 4. The arrow points to the line that represents your 41 year old actor example. As you can see, it's extremely rare for somebody in that age group to die, more die in car wrecks, more die from heart attacks, more die from mistakes made by medical professionals while they are in the hospital yet you don't want to do anything about Cars, McDonalds or those truly dangerous hospitals.

It's not like the virus is an all-or-nothing proposition: one way or another, it'll probably fuck you up, and the worst part is immunity after recovery isn't a surefire thing.

I'm not worried about the dying part, but the other stuff, I'm definitely worried.

She is an avid runner, or was. Although they both survived, she finds that she gets winded easily, and has yet to feel up to running again. She says her lungs are about half of what they were.

Per the CDC as of 9:41 am 7/14/2020.

Number of Covid Cases in the United States (updated 7/13/2020) is 3,296,599.

Number of Deaths is 134,884.

Again -- simple math. That is a Death rate for those with Covid of 4. 1% or conversely a survival rate of 95.9%.

So what has been heavily used as a. 26% fatality rate (1 - 99.74% = .26%) for those infected is really 15 times higher than that and is currently at 4. 1%.

May seem like a small change but earlier the number of 400,000 was used and based on the 99.74% or. 26% -- a fatality rate of 1,040 people was estimated.

Now try it at 95.9% or 4. 1% and you get a fatality count of 16,400.

I'm not advocating one position over any other but I do think its helpful to be using accurate data.
