Melissa is a waste of time and effort
As many of you know I've reported on my experiences with Melissa. It's been a rocky road for her, but it appears she's cleaned up and got a hotel in Huntington off Route 1. She tells me she's solo, so no slim shady or other drama with other people staying. She's available after 3 today until I don't know when. If you want more details on her services and looks search the forum. I plan on visiting her later today.
Tried seeing her over the past few days. She seemed legit. Again, but failed by not showing up at the agreed location and giving an address she was staying at a bit further than walking distance. PM for details as I've wasted enough time and forgiveness with her BS. She always claims the place she stays at has issues that prevent her from meeting at agreed time and place. She is a serious avoid and sometimes sleeps outside because she can't get a place at the shelter or enough money to secure a place to stay. You're basically chasing after a homeless woman. Such a shame cause she was good at the start. Tho, most of them are like so.

Your experience is probably why I've never seen that site's links in this forum
That particular site has been around at least since 2018, perhaps longer. Back then, I used it (in conjunction with another site who's name I forget) when travelling overseas. However, it was very hit-and-miss with a helluva lot of misses. Approach that whole site with lowered expectations, extreme level of patience, and healthy skepticism--and you might come across a real, surprising gem.
But again, all those experiences were from overseas. If I had to put statistics to it, maybe 5% looked as advertised & worth it. The other 95% either looked nothing like their pictures, weren't worth the asking price, or ghosted / flaked the day of.
Even during periods when I'm not actively posting, I still read the forum to keep up with goings on. And one thing that always catches my attention is when someone posts a link from an ad site I haven't seen before.
When that happens, I always check out the site to see whether it's a good resource or whether it's a waste of time. I'm quite sure that, in all the years I've been on this forum, I've never seen ladysone. From your post I take it that the reasons were probably: a) It was more focused on non-US markets, and; b) The proportion of legit ads to questionable ones is unacceptably low.
As far as finding a gem, it seems to me that any real provider who is advertising on that site would also be advertising on other sites that are more widely known (Tryst, STG, etc). Even listcrawler, with its high proportion of fakes, at least provides ways to check the ad posting history, comments, and reviews.
From everything I saw when I checked it out, ladysone isn't worth putting in my toolkit.

Red flag -- same day appts only

Any input on a provider who prefers same day appointments. I contacted a provider this afternoon (who is advertising on EROS) about an appointment this week.
The response was "I can meet now, ready?" I replied that maybe later in the week and her response was "I only do same day appointments. " Seems very suspicious so I am going to pass. Any input is appreciated.
P.S. Thought this would be pertinent to this thread (op security).
