I'll start this post with the following disclaimer. (This is all I know at this point, more details coming when I get them).

I want to start by saying I have since talked to nice guy 52 and we have worked out the situation and everything is cool it was a communication problem and a door man at a well known strip club who wouldn't let me in without my I'd but I have since appoligized to him and who ever has met me know I dnt do a nc / ns and I will make it upto him and on the other note of the well known provider who got busted she emailed me all of the uncles info this is why I personally don't see any new clients I stick to the ones I know. If you don't get greedy and treat people with respect they will return to see you and you don't have to see any new clients I stick to this rule and this is why I stay safe and any client who comes to see me feels safe and know I'm a very discreet lady so with this being said everyone be safe and stick to your providers who you know and trust. That is not the purpose of this board. If there was a bust and the media reports it, then we can report and comment on it on the News and Media board. Unless I'm missing something and a bust, which is public record by the way, has been reported by TV, radio stations or newspapers, then I don't know what you're talking about. To out LE here I'm not sure the effect, there are provider sites for that sort of thing and it needs to go there, sure be curious though to know his handle here for our sake. I became friends here with a LE that was as safe a hobbiests to know I have ever known, and a girl I see frequently has four LE as regs she says, but they are just down for play, and she knew it in advance, so the lines are very grey as to ones safety and how to keep it.

That has nothing to do with whether busts and stings should be publicized. Of course they should. Keeping people in the dark is another weapon in Uncle's arsenal (unless he wants the headlines). And some of us know women who are UTR, or partly so, and we'd like to be able to give them a head's up. But it's the problem of wartime espionage, isn't it? You get the information, but then do you believe it? In the end the best advice is for everyone to know the law, to know his rights, and to never cut corners. And for hobbyists, in addition, to recognize that it is providers who run the real risks, and deserve our respect and cooperation.

Seems to me that what's of value to the hobbyist is where this activity occurs, and what board or website it went through. An officer doing his job is doing his job, whether we like it, whether he takes pleasure in it or not. Revealing his screen name is a legitimate activity, though one most providers would probably rather get from another provider. Revealing his identity is an invitation to trouble. On the other hand, you don't have to be in the hobby very long to hear tales of individual leos stepping way, way over the line. A cop who's abusive, who steals, or who takes sexual advantage has forfeited his right to use the shield. Where the internets and the camera phone help police the police they're doing us all a service.

One other thing, EC; you say the woman in question is an experienced provider, but she fails to check refs and takes the fact that the guy mails her *dick photos* as conferring some sort of legitimacy? I hope she realizes better now. If that sort of thing ain't a red flag it sure is a serious yellow.

Also I don't get why UTR's are even discussed here. If a fucking name or email can't be shared then that provider is fucking useless for the purposes of the board.

That's not against the rules, as long as it's her provider name. I think we all know who it is anyway. A police report would reveal her real name, but again, putting her provider name on here is not against the rules of this web site.

If I knew the provider that was busted and it was someone that I've seen before, it wouldn't stop me from seeing that person, but I would exercise a little more caution for my safety. You don't have to be around the hobby too long to learn about hinky busts, rogue cops, or abuse of the system. Sadly, the response to a bust is not to declare "the arresting was just doing his job" but, rather, to ask whether he was just doing his job, or whether he overstepped his legal authority, intentionally or unintentionally.

There are thousands of pieces of paper some guy signed which aren't enforced. And anyone who's lived in Indianapolis for the last four months has seen prima facie evidence that the system is often disproportionally aimed at those least able to defend themselves, and driven by the desire for headlines, not justice. Anyone who's chosen police work as a career is part of that system. The two are intertwined, and even the honest policeman-part of the great majority, undoubtedly-has to confront that. If he's the arbiter of morality, then his own morality is a legitimate question. As it's done in our name, it's a question for us. (Let's add that Texas police officers were part of the "Superbowl child-sex rings" presentation that was made to the Indianapolis brass, and which was almost wholly fictional.)

Lying and deceit are part of the arsenal of police work. So, too, is spreading paranoia. Whether you believe God will sort this all out at the Pearly Gates is a matter for the individual conscience. But nothing says the rest of us have to cooperate here and now.

EC asked a question. I think it's been answered clearly, and correctly. And I was the first to say "the individual officer is just doing his job". But that's not a free pass. Dishonest clients are our legitimate concern, whether they're short-changing providers or carting them off to jail. Because-contrary to the apparent attitude of some around here-the hobby would be a lot worse off without women.

This bust just happened within the past four or five days. The provider on NR that mentioned her issues is a different person.

BF Deal: I don't care whether you care what others care about you caring about their caring of your viewpoint. I once met a three year old, who gave me his opinion about the sun being out one day. That opinion made more sense than your thoughts about not providing legal information that affects the members and readers of this board. So keep your opinion. B Beal: sorry, that was my mistake. You're right about an officer doing his job. He's got his job to do, and we have ours, and hopefully, never the twain shall meet. I have only offered the officers info to providers who have asked. Also, prior to posting anything about the situation, I asked the provider what she wanted "out there" and what she didn't. She really didn't put any restrictions on anything, and the fact that I asked for advice about how far to go with the post was my decision and my opinion of what discretion should be used. And yes, although experienced, she got lazy and equated the fact that she was sent a "dikpik" with the relative safety of checking references.

Any senior who has PMd me asking for information on who the provider was has been given that info. I will not out the provider here-even though she said it was okay-and I will not out the "client", (who apparently has a huge schlong, even thought that has absolutely nothing to do with anything). I will reiterate though that the "anonymous" provider on the NR forums is not the one that I have referred to in my posts.

One other thought, I'm pretty sure I didn't post any specifics about the super bowl eve bust that I actually saw go down. If I were one to enjoy sensationalism, I would have. There were others that could have been drastically negatively affected by the info, so I didn't go into anything there. That situation has long since blown over, and to the best of my knowledge, no issues arose from that, other than the girl that went through some shite for a few hours.
