I signed up last week with the 33% discount for one month and auto-renewal (which I'll cancel right before it is due) and very quickly found out a few things which I'm going to post to give everyone the skinny and save all some time and effort based on my experience. I set up a profile back late last year November but did not sign up (and pay up) until last week so I accumulated a whole load of messages (which I could not view or respond to until paid up) and 'likes' which consists of a combination of SBs viewing and / or favoriting your profile (I could view those SB profiles and they could see that I viewed or favorited their profiles in return but of course no contacts were allowed until I paid up).

Because of this backlog, I got swamped by SBs right after I activated my membership. It felt like a ton but the actual pool of active SBs in the DMV is really not that big, probably a couple hundred at the most. Of these I would estimate 50% are fakes and scams (I'll define in a minute how I determine this). I notice that these fakes and scams were primarily with SB profiles in the 18-30 yr range, with the 30 yr and older SB profiles generally being more authentic, not always true but as a general rule. I define fakes / scams as any communication leading to 'send me money by CashApp, PayPal or any of the other online payment methods' for photos, videos, 'booking' for a M&G, Uber / Lyft to get to the M&G, baby-sitting, money for kids (not sure why kids would need money) or to 'show the seriousness of my intentions'. I just state politely but firmly that 'I have no interest in photos or videos (as there is a ton of free porn on-line) and rather wait for the real thing when we meet' or that I do not pay to book a M&G, for her to get to a M&G by Uber / Lyft or for baby-sitting while at the M&G. I also state that she can see the seriousness of my intentions at the M&G when I come with cash in hand.

Now I have always maintained that with gambling and mongering, you need to have some self-imposed rules in order to not get in too deep emotionally or financially. I'll not deal with the too deep emotionally stuff as that is just plain common sense and many have opined in these threads ad naseam and I'll focus on the not too deep financially piece because as with many, we guys tend to think with our little heads which lends us getting scammed out of our cash. I think it is best before one starts to determine for oneself the following:

1) One's M&G gift (SBs usually ask for something for their time but I have a problem with paying for M&Gs since it's also my time and I'm buying drinks / dinner; had one SB decline a M&G when I refused to give her $100 for M&G but I figure it's her loss).

2) One's max for a ppm (SBs ask range is $300 to $800, I really balk at anything over $400 since top of the line escorts and porn stars ask and get that, inexperienced nobody 20 somethings are not worth that IMHO).

3) One's max for a monthly allowance (SB ask range is from $2500 to $6000, I don't even give my own kid $2000 a month so why would I help out a stranger with that much; I do notice they come down quickly to $1500 to $3500 with some half-arsed negotiating so am sure I could get some lower; it helps to phrase things as "this is what I'm willing to help with" and "I do value your time and your value of your time" not "you are asking too much" or "you are not worth that much".

4) One's preferred frequency of meeting (I know some guys would meet every day of the week / month if they could but realistically for me, with a professional commitments and other commitments of having a real life, once or twice a week is plenty for myself; I want a SB not a gf or wife and more than twice a week might be suffocating for some; most SBs have a similar expectation since they often have more than one SD).

I notice a lot of guys often post links for specific SBs asking for information if anyone has had prior experience. Unlike SW and escorts, this exercise is almost always futile with SBs since many are fakes / scams and you can sniff these out yourself within a couple of email exchanges. Many SBs will ask for a cell number to get out the SA shell. I have used either a burner cell or I've also one of those texting / calling apps on my cell which gives me a VOIP number different from my cell number so I have no problem giving them out. While some of these are scams / fakes, any of the real SBs I've met almost always do this. So I would recommend getting of the shell if the SBs suggests it but as a SD you should suggest it sooner or later.

In the last 72 hours since I paid and signed up to activate my SA account I have met in person the following SBs (I'll abstain for sending their SB profile links since each of us should set up our own stable of contacts, not being selfish but the large part of setting up a true SD-SB relationship is discovering the chemistry and making a friend with whom you truly would like to help out, otherwise I'd suggest just getting a SW or escort).

1) Met a 23 yr SB from Romania, met for dinner and then went to her apartment for a FS session including BBBJ, DATY, CIP (no Greek)(no M&G gift asked for or given).

2) Met a 50 yr SB separated established professional MILF who is Sub-Dom, does this for fun, doesn't need the money but finds the transaction a turn-on, would in lieu of cash accept spa treatments, nail-sessions, massages as gifts. The sad fact is that Seeking's reliability has taken a drastic nosedive with countless bots & scams populating their profile numbers. I report as many as I can, but it always feels like using a finger to plug a giant hole in a broken, dilapidated dam. Before long, it won't be that much different than Tinder where 95% of users are fake and / or unwilling to meet in-person. And that's been that way even prior to COVID rearing its ugly head.

Also, another reason to hold off is the time of year. Two of my regular SBs are in school, taking full course loads for this spring semester. Good points but there are a couple things good for this time of year:

Christmas gift credit card bills coming due (college and older ladies).

Going back to campus for some of the college girls, December / January can be tough when they go home for winter break. But with Covid this may be less of an opportunity. When the college ones are back in class, away from home, I've found them more open to meeting. And you may luck out with one that has a day with light or no classes.
