[BLUE]It becomes be / see because a bee with a slash and cee is not the same as the word because. We have a text cleanup script that runs against everything posted on the forum. If we didn't, and we know because we didn't use to have it, then about 40% of the content becomes nearly unreadable. People use the number 4 in place of the word for, they use the letter bee in place of the word be. You can solve that problem by following the guidelines you agreed to, one of them says "Don't write like you're in a chatroom."
See it's right there in the guidelines. No person is changing what you write, a script is trying to correct what you write.
I gave you the user title douchebag because you got an infraction a long time ago and then you acted like a douchebag by trying to spam the forum. Just like you are acting like a douchebag by questioning my credentials, I never said I was FROM South America, I said that I LIVE in South America, I'm a 100% Yankee Doodle Dandy, A-1 American through and through AND a monger to boot, AND a member of these fine forums since 2003. English is my native language (if you ever heard my Spanish you would know it's not) so I'm kind of the perfect pick to do the job.
Anyway, just wanted to clear that up, have a great weekend.
A2[/BLUE]
It's good to have, and to enforce, our rules. I, for one, rapidly tire of texting gibberish. Sometimes, though, the rules may come adrift. Today I posted, in Raleigh, NC, and included the term "see-section" (with a capital letter see standing for Caesarian, a fairly standard abbreviation I'd have thought) and somehow or other it ended up as "see-section"! Does cutting and pasting text have an effect on how it is treated?
