On the shutdowns. If instead of arresting girls or customers, they are using permit violations and the like to shut places down, and if the places where they are prioritizing enforcement are the ones with clear trafficking issues who are doing things like zip-tying girls wrists together...
...I'm not personally losing any sleep over it.
I think the best way to combat trafficking is to make sex work legal. But until that happens, I still don't want to have to wonder if the girl is there because she's afraid for her life.
Clear out the trafficking gangs, leave the shops owned by independents who have been here for years alone, and you'll get no outrage from me.
