Anonymous phones are great
I paid cash for an inexpensive cell phone from Kroger (I think it was $30) and buy $10 prepaid cards (also for cash) once a month. I keep the phone hidden from prying eyes and only turn it on when I want to setup a date. When I'm done, I turn it off and put it back in it's hiding place until the next time I need it. It's a little extra hassle and a little extra expense but knowing that I (or someone I care about) will never get those kinds of calls and that my number will never show up in the wrong place is worth it.
And change them frequently. Their cheap. After the recent bust, I stopped and picked up a new phone, transferred all my numbers and got rid of the older one that might show up on call logs for some of those that got busted. New phone and recharge card from Walmart, all paid with cash, $35.
