Yeah, Back in the day 8st was the place to be for SW. When I say back in the day I mean late 80's early 90's.

I was wondering if anyone has run across the couple who walk up Flagler on the south side? The girl is good looking and walks by herself. The girl ignores you when you try to talk to her. The young thug looking hipanic guy with tatoos on his forearms walks behind her and tries to talk to you in Spanish. I think her is trying to arrange for you to pick up the girl on his terms and I think he probably wants you to pay him for her services. Thats a common scam I've seen before.

For $30, sometimes $20, you could get a great hum job on 2 Ave. NE or Biscayne anytime of day. I usually cruised at about 6am before work and parked on the street. The SW's on 8th and on Flagler were always hispanic, better looking, and charged more, maybe $40-$50 for a hum job. They were plentiful. You had to get a motel because parking on the street was too dangerous.

The downturn in the economy has been great for me. I don't cruise for SW's anymore. I have been here for a while (Homestead) and the choices are not very good, I have driven the routes all tell me to but am more of a day time monger.
