If you don't care about poor brown people far from the US then lets talk about the people closer to home. In the book "The De-Industrialization of America" Barry Bluestone makes that case that every 1% increase in the unemployment rate accounts for 38,000 deaths. This work was published long before covid and he's a lefty so nobody can call it faulty. The US has had I think a 12% increase in unemployment so that's 456,000 deaths. As of now the US has had 120,000 deaths for people WITH covid and that has been clearly flat the last two month regardless of what CNN says. I guess my question is, do the 456,000 not count because they don't have the disease that MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC are talking about 24/7?

If you want to be humane then all those lives are important and we are killing them for a disease that has a 99.74% survival rate. This is the chart, daily deaths which are down. It took all the really sick people in March and April so them deaths have been on the decline. They are going to jump soon because people are looking at it and they will have to change some reporting standard like they did in mid April when there wasn't enough deaths s that all the states that tried to return to life can be "proven" reckless but there is no denying that it's been declining for two months.

I know some of you team lockdown guys are going to try and shame me but all of you will attack me personally because none of you have anything of value to say about the covid mitigation induced deaths that will be 10 x what covid would have been. All you have is "so every doctor. " blah blah fucking blah.

I can't wait for November when this all ends.

As far as abusing my power, there are a couple issues with that. Mostly because my power, on this forum, is absolute there can be no abuse. I am literally above the law here because all the rules that there are here flow from my authority on this web site. You think it's abuse because you in less than a year you have managed to rack up 7 flags. If I cared enough to look I know you're somebody who has been banned several times because you just don't understand that this isn't your forum and there are rules you have to follow.

I doubt you will understand this but its how it works, it's why royalty were never subject to their own laws. I have no illusions that that power extends beyond this forum but it's the way it has to be here, there is one of me and 400,000 of you. We are ok with an element of anarchy but ultimately if the content isn't moderated the site loses utility and at the end of the day it's a business so it requires business decisions.

With people under 20 that number is something like 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999% yes I know CNN will always report on the one in 100,000,000 kid that died from this but statistically more kids will die going from home to school than will of the virus so exactly what proper precautions do kids who are demonstrably nearly immune to the effects of the virus need?

BTW the IFR rate by age group is a matter of fact so please respond with facts not with "if it saves one kid" because if that were true we wouldn't be starving them in the third world so folks like you could insist on the biggest demonstration of privilege in my lifetime.

99.74% overall survival rate is a fact yet team lockdown keeps comparing the virus to the plague.

Death rate in decline for 3 months is a fact which proves the greater number of cases is testing. Remember anti body testing in NY proved that over 3,000,000 people had and recovered from Covid in April. It was an easy story to miss because MSNBC and CNN went with "Trump tells people to inject bleach" instead of "Great News Covid not nearly as lethal as thought" when those studies were released.

Seriously, how do you answer that only 10% of the ICU beds in Travis County and 10% of the ICU beds in Harris County were taking up 12.5% of the ICU beds yet somehow it was Covid that was overwhelming the health care system. Those are straight up facts not open to debate.

It's not conspiracy theory to say that it wasn't unprecedented for NYC docs to be working in tents and using refrigerated trucks to deal with flu because there's a story in Time, published in 2018 saying they were doing the same thing.

Now this part is a little conspiracy theoryish. It's my contention that this will all be over on November 4th. You can argue with me all you want but I'm waiting to see what happens. It's also my contention that next year in April when the CDC releases the overall number of people who died in the US in 2020 it will be within 1% of the number who died in 2018 which was the last pandemic year. I'm not saying the number that died of, I'm talking about the total number of people who died and I'd bet 10 g's it's not going to have risen. I think that's the only number that will have any real meaning and no spin from 2020. If I'm wrong then I was wrong about the whole thing and I'll feel like an asshole but if I'm right and around 2.8 million people die this year then you are one of the people who pushed 400,000,000 million people back into extreme poverty the world over for nothing and you better get a second job to help the relief efforts because the amount of dying that is going to cause is going to take a decade to cure.
