Went today at 5:30.5 at the door. 5-6 ladies. Most 6-8. Waited 20 minutes and bolted. I've been looking for a new otc friend. Maybe a another day.
Went to my usual haunt (Rio) at an odd time, and was unpleasantly disappointed. 1 zoned out girl, 1 interesting but rode hard girl, 2 girls that stopped by and didn't get the motors running. Note to self, don't go a super off times no matter the hankering.
As for the Chassy, not really surprised considering. Hopefully the new club doesn't suck ass. Haven't stopped in to the new Babes yet, but shot is coming soon so that will help relieve me of my reticence.

So, here's some weird intel. They're a chain (I've no fucking idea if / when they will actually open here) and I went to the one in Dallas about 2 years ago. I was the oldest and whitest dude in the place. One other young white guy. Jam packed. I mean fucking JAMMED, about 45 minutes to get in the place, cars lined up for maybe 2 miles just to park. Lots and lots of couples and civvy women. Got my dick grabbed by one, but since we weren't allowed to stop moving (fire hazard) she literally disappeared into the crowd. Chick in the parking lot yelled out that she "really needed dick tonight!" Was too thick for my liking so I didn't approach.
Never felt unsafe or even uncomfortable. I was something of a novelty, had some very interesting conversations. Was BYOB.
Naturally if it opens here it won't be that crazy, but doing some negative extrapolation will give you an idea of what's up.

But I also have seen posts on Instagram about Club Onyx Indy for the old Classy Chassis location. Not sure is Rick's affiliated or just unaware of brand issues.
But I saw it through a local black dancer and do follow on IG. So I'm not willing to say they won't be coming here.

I went there and they wanted to charge $20 to use the lap dance area. I immediately realized they had done no study of local strip club conditions. No other club in Indianapolis charges $20 to use the lap dance area. PT's charges $6 and a lot of clubs charge nothing at all so $20 was way out of line for what is normal for the local market. They ended up dropping it but there were probably other things I'm not aware that didn't coincide with what would be needed to have a successful Indianapolis strip club operation since they ended up pulling out.

Would such a club work well on the south side of Indianapolis? The south side has always been mostly white and when I visited Classy Chassy and the other south side clubs they usually seemed to have fewer black customers than the north side clubs. In recent years, though, all the Indianapolis clubs have started to have more of an urban vibe with more rap music being played and more black customers and strippers. Black clubs here in the past have included Sunset Strip and Pure Passion. Last time I went to Club Paradise and the recently reopened Babes I was the only white customer in the club. I don't know if the local clubs have decided to go in that direction or if they have had no choice because of shifting demographics or cultural changes.

According to their site it's going to be 4400 South Harding street just north of I465. When I first read about them opening a club in Indy, I visualized them opening up on the far north side or downtown Indy.

If you've been to the Hugger before only changes in the last zillion years it's now smoke-free and the iconic cigarette burned tablecloths have been retired likely hanging in the Smithsonian.
Located Kokomo 45 minutes from the North side of 465. Safe area, free parking, $5 cover after 6. Drinks are reasonably priced but only two choices of beer. One stage, no DJ just jukebox. No Hip Hop or chamber music allowed.
No VIP, LDs are done in the open but darkness provides some privacy. Dances are only $10.
Dancer pay the jukebox for their own music hand them a couple bucks once in a while might get noticed.
The following only pertains to Day Shift as 95% of my Hugger experiences have been days.
The last 6 Mo has been a little slow guessing the average number of dancers per shift to be 6 but the other day was 11. Several new girls have started in the last month. This is probably one of the most laid-back clubs you'll find with little to no hustle.
As mentioned, dances are $10 with 2-way contact, your money can go a long way compared to Indy's $25+. Three dance rotation then the annoying tip walk. It's only a dollar so it's basically only $6 an hour.
Here is a tip. Little shy? Great time to ask for a dance!

Day Shift is celebrating St Patrick's Day this Wed the 17th. From 12 -7.

I haven't been to Dancers since pre-Covid. I have a rare weekend off this weekend and thinking about making a visit there. The last I heard the $20 lap dances were air dances. I probably think it's more strange that it's a black club located on SW side of city. I saw a live InstaGram broadcast with about 4 dancers on stage. Hard to tell about the luxury level or crowd size. Probably too early in night for a big crowd. I didn't go to the old CC enough to remember it. But I would guess a new stage and carpet pretty cheap investment. Make some bottle areas and you have an upscale club to differentiate from other black clubs.

If you go back on this thread you'll notice this new club in place of classy chassis has been brought up many times. It is open now and is a higher end chain club called club Onyx. I checked it out very briefly because I was in the area and had to stop in but couldn't stay, and if you like ethnic broads you're in for a real treat. They had some smoke shows! Luckily for me I got enough swag to get on their good side. It's a safe place, it's a nice place so have some confidence and check it out. And if you can afford it, I recommend doing the VIP there if you're interested in trying to get OTC later. Just a tip.

Every club is pretty much like every other club and no one ever tries anything new or different in order to appeal to different segments of the public. Here in Indianapolis the only difference I've seen in clubs is that some clubs try to be a little more upscale than others. This often just means charging more. We have had a few black clubs but they have been of the small neighborhood type. There are enough Hispanic people here in Indy now that you could easily have a Hispanic club. A Mexican stripper once told me Mexican guys like to eat in clubs so a club serving Mexican food while Hispanic strippers dance to Latin music might be popular. You could also have clubs that appeal to different age groups. Young guys probably don't want to listen to Boomer rock bands like Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd and old guys don't want to hear rap and hip hop.
Like the red garter. The Garter use to have a separate bar in the front with some good food and lower cost drinks. The back room had the good part. Pretty girls a dance Stage and a bar. I also liked the exotic shows they had at midnight. I still to this day remember the exotic dancer that performed there for a good little while that could spin fire from her tits. Also in the 80's and 90's we had a lot more clubs in Indy. Just saying.

The Pony hasn't had a normal day shift recently but even when they did have one there were hardly any girls there. The same thing was true under the previous owner when it was Rick's Cabaret. Customers don't show up because there are no girls there and girls don't show up because there are no customers there and the management hasn't been able to break that vicious circle.
Even on night shift the Pony has problems. I went there about nine last night but many of the strippers didn't show up until ten or even eleven. I felt like I had to hang around until most of the girls were there since there were pretty slim pickings earlier in the evening but then I ended up getting bored sitting there for hours. It's made even worse because of the extremely loud rap and hip music they play almost nonstop. That's not a club you can have a conversation with a stripper in unless you both want to yell at each other so you can hear what each other are saying.

There have typically been about 3 girls there on days and the one Friday night I went in, there were only 7 girls. There is some decent talent in there, but needless to say it is definitely a seller's market. I have managed to get a few dances from time to time, but if one or more of the 3 girls is busy with her regular, then good luck. It's been pretty brutal getting anyone's attention. Maybe one day they'll find some girls that realize there is some money to be made. I guess it still beats anything here in Indy (at least that I'm aware of).

This past Saturday night I stopped by Dancers for the first time since February of last year. Lots of changes. I got there around 7:30 pm. After checking my temperature I paid the $10 cover. A mask was required for entry. However, once inside, they weren't enforcing masks. Dancers wore masks while on the stage and while walking around. If they were sitting at a table, the mask was off. I'd say capacity was at about 75% now. All the chairs around the stages have been removed. If you want to tip at the stage, you just throw your money on the stage and walk away. One big change is the price of dances went up. Pre-Covid dances were $20/ dance. I was told there was a meeting a couple of weeks ago and management told the dancers they can now charge whatever they want for dances. But the minimum was $25/ dance. The majority of the dancers I chatted with were charging $25. One told me she was charging $30. Another said her dances were $40/ dance. Dances were mask less and were back to full contact.
I got 2 dances from Jessie ($25 each) and 2 from Lexi ($40 each.) Were the dances worth the higher price? Nope. Dances from Jessie and Lexi were average. Jessie didn't even switch up her dances. Her 2nd dance was identical to her first dance. Lexi was a good conversationalist and fun to talk with. If her dances were $20 I wouldn't complain. But $40? I don't think I'm going to be a repeat customer of hers. Unless she lowers the price.
This was my first visit in over a year and there were a lot of new faces. It also seemed the dancer quality had declined a little. One thing that hasn't changed is the behavior / attitude of most of the dancers. Dancers are content to camp out with a regular customer all night. If they don't have a regular customer, they seemed content to either hide in the dressing room or sit with a group of other dancers and talk amongst themselves. There seemed to be very few dancers walking around asking for dances.
In the past, Dancers was my favorite club. Very good quality of dancers and $20 lap dances. Now it seems the quality of dancers has declined, and the dance prices have increased. Perhaps I need to find a new favorite club? I think I'll wait for a while before I visit again. Hopefully dance prices will drop back down to $20 by then.
The just posted review of Dancers mentioned that the management decided to let the girls set their own prices on lap dances. PT's tried that a few years back. It didn't work out. The numbers of customers declined. They then reinstated a set price.
A lot of the girls seemed to think along the lines that if they charged $50 instead of $25 for a lap dance then they would make twice as much money. Makes sense, right? That's only true, though, if the customers demand for a lap dance doesn't change as the price goes up. For most customers, though, buying a lap dance is not a necessity. They might buy one but only if they think it is worth it. They might buy a lap dance from a girl for $25 but if she is charging $50 they may think about everything else they could buy with that money and decide not to buy the lap dance. So the girls make more money on each lap dance but sell fewer of them and may end up making less money overall. If a lot of girls are charging high prices the customers may decide not to even go to that club. Then the club is losing money on entrance fees and drink sales too. If no one shows up, instead of having a party atmosphere the empty club can start to have a bit of a creepy vibe and that drives away even more customers. Even the girls charging a lower price can be hurt here since customers might not want to spend time going around asking one girl after another what their lap dance price is trying to find the girl doing the $25 dollar dance. Some girls will also try to haggle over prices and many customers don't like that. They are there to have fun, not argue with a stripper how much she should charge.
It's not surprising a young girl wouldn't think about this but the club owners and management are supposed to have more business experience and should be able to foresee all this. Most clubs have figured out over the years a set price is best and it is usually in a narrow range that depends on the local market. You don't see one dollar dances or thousand dollar dances because the one dollar dances would lead to too many customers while the thousand dollar dances will lead to no customers.
Good economic and business analysis. I'm willing to give the club stakeholders a TED talk on price elasticity of demand.
PTs is great example I wrote the club off after they took this route and didn't realize they had reversed course. After reading the previous report I pretty took Dancers out of my May return lineup. Furthermore it will word of mouth effects. I guy I know comes to Indy from SW Ohio due to better value available here. He primarily goes to the closer BBF but would occasionally want to try Dancers that will be gone now.
Even raising the minimum we effect the nome for dancers for me my base purchase was 2 dances normally and unless girl did a horrible job would add a tip. Can't see myself paying 50 + tip. Well unless entire market goes to $25 base price.
What is BBF pricing? I remember reading of some increases there but that must have been seen in another message board as I didn't see reports here when I scanned back. My memory might be rusty but thought that was related to the time or cost of the timed room.

So the girls make more money on each lap dance but sell fewer of them and may end up making less money overall. If a lot of girls are charging high prices the customers may decide not to even go to that club. Then the club is losing money on entrance fees and drink sales too. If no one shows up, instead of having a party atmosphere the empty club can start to have a bit of a creepy vibe and that drives away even more customers. Even the girls charging a lower price can be hurt here since customers might not want to spend time going around asking one girl after another what their lap dance price is trying to find the girl doing the $25 dollar dance. Some girls will also try to haggle over prices and many customers don't like that. They are there to have fun, not argue with a stripper how much she should charge.
It's not surprising a young girl wouldn't think about this but the club owners and management are supposed to have more business experience and should be able to foresee all this. Most clubs have figured out over the years a set price is best and it is usually in a narrow range that depends on the local market. You don't see one dollar dances or thousand dollar dances because the one dollar dances would lead to too many customers while the thousand dollar dances will lead to no customers.[/QUOTE]
