Several weeks ago Polk county's chief clown, Grady Judd, instigated another prostitution sting. What was interesting was the list of participating and / or cooperating agencies. Included in the list were Homeland Security, and Airforce CIS.
Both of those are federal agencies with little to no connections or interest in Polk county. They almost certainly did not provide boots on the ground support. The only reasonable conclusion is that they are providing access to government electronic databases that Grady Judd would not have access to otherwise, or would be illegal for his office to create in the first place. I am sure that the lack of judicial oversight, and the ability to obtain info without a court warrant would be too tempting for him to pass up.
So, is big brother watching us? Absolutely.

No I am sorry but no one in the Air Force in any kind of command would allow this. If the did they would be crossing the civilian to military lines. FBI is not Military no one in the Air Force command would do this. If a S. O. Find out one of his cadets or someone in his command is even seeing a prostitute or escort they would face serious charges even if they were posing as a CI to help the local police. There is a lot of talk in this thread about the agencies working together and eavesdropping on electronic communications. First, you have to keep things in perspective. For example, if you post something saying you were dreaming in New York on one day, Chicago a couple weeks later and Orlando on other days. They know exactly who you are.
Providers should really pay attention. If you are using credit cards, moving from town to town and posting on either the Forum or Backpage, they already know who you are. LEO does not need access to the Forum servers or the read the electronic communication to identify your IP address.
This is NOT rocket science. This is simple technology these days. I make sure that I rarely post any of my escapades on the same day that they happen or in the same order. If LEO is collecting license plate numbers they can also tie patterns to posts. Paranoid? Nah. I'm not only a hunter, but I could also be the hunted and I leave nothing to chance. For there to be a "Plea Deal" you must plead 'Not Guilty" at your arraignment and then strike a "Plea Deal", this is done by your attorney or public defender, once ok'd by the judge you proceed to the sentence for the crime that you agreed to plead guilty to. Fine, probation, VD test, Aides class etc, etc.
As far as a felony prosecution on the third arrest for prostitution, that is strictly up to the prosecution, I know one girl on the trail who was arrested at least 20x and never charged with a felony, this is not automatic. It depends on the situation, the girl and what the state can really prove if driven to a jury trial. Understand the state hates to lose, over 90% of all cases are plea bargained, if they were not the court system would be bogged down for years with jury trials.
Since the state hates to lose it only takes high profile slam dunks to trial. They were shocked when they lost the 'Casey Anthony" case, but all they proved was the child was dead they never connected the dots to "Casey" with absolute proof beyond a reasonable doubt for the jury. Because they couldn't.
Jeff Ashton is taking another slam dunk to trial but he is smart, he's staying out of the trial until the guy is convicted and then Ashton is coming in for the penalty phase. So that he gets the credit for getting the death sentence or a life in prison verdict. Of course, privacy laws mean they can't come out and say it, but typically a first time prostitution bust won't lead to a felony. I believe it's the 3rd offense.
The po-po can "charge" anyone with anything they want. Unless you are "convicted" the chances are high that you won't even get a misdemeanor. Keep in mind most charges are dropped or plea deals.

When a monger provides out of state travel expenses and provides a place to stay in change to have a personal blow me toy it could be consider human trafficking. I guess that the question is how involved are you with the providers.
