The K girls I've met here, mostly, strike me as just not wanting to chat. I have had discussions with a few once they realize I just want to share a few jokes and not pry into their lives. Some of the observations they've shared, I. E. How shitty US airports are and why we use mouthwash that burns (didn't know there was any that didn't myself), were kinda fascinating really.

Speaking Korean, they'll probably just be annoyed.

This thread about speaking Korean is hilarious LOL. There's no such thing as "proper, high-end" Korean unless you're talking about honorifics which the girl would actually use on me since I'm her "oppa".

A lot of the kgirls I've met open up to me because I speak Korean, I'm a decent "oppa" age (not too old, not too young), and I'm normal. Some will chat with me, but keep things close to the chest because they just want to work, make a money, and call it a day. Fair enough. Other girls are more open. They'll want to hang out, get drinks, go to a karaoke, whatever. Way too many hoops to jump through to see some of these "higher end" K-girls, at least it seems from what I've read.

As for learning languages, I try to pick up a few simple words and phrases when I travel just to make things easier. Usually something like, hello, thank you, excuse me and how to order food, anything to make my way easier and to be polite. Thailand has proven to be a more difficult place to do that though. I can not get a sense of that language, so I do what most do and just resort to Tinglish. LOL.

All those who got popped being "The League" were due to this same egomaniacal obsession with the AAMP provider base on the east side.

Some learn by reading. Others, by observing. Still others just have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.

But I actually lived in South Korea for 3 1/2 years, and thus know some things about Korean culture. I certainly do not claim to be an expert, but I know enough about their ways, customs, etc. One thing for sure is that not all things will "open up" on a first visit. But knowing the language is a good way to "break the ice", especially if the woman knows little, if any, English.

Go to TER's Kgirl forum and those guys are fully OBSESSED with kgirls. Not sure why though. A number of posts I've seen on the KAngels forum have indicated some language issues. And back in 2019, I visited a Korean gal 4 times whose English was not that great.

I suspect, though, that like everything else, there are some KGals who do speak a decent amount of English.
