There was a bit of miscommunication, and it has been resolved with not a single complaint. The reviews on TER were accurate. I've ducked out in a few bad situations myself and unbeknown to me at the immediate time, LEO was involved.
I usually have multiple phones / numbers. I'd call to set up appointment with one phone. Many times days in advance. I really want to just get a feel for the location. I'd drive by periodically just to see what's going on. If I felt comfortable after those few days, with a new lady, then I call from another phone number. To make appointment.
One thing that I have found is that I'm always ready to delete the phone app number from my phone as I'm approaching enter the location. I have already made the call. They know I'm on the way. They know I'm at the building. And I have the apt / room. Number. I'm just ready with my finger on the button just in case they try to call upon my arrival. By the way, I've actually had to use this tactic before. Knock on wood though.
