What's your guys thoughts on the BURNER APP you download on your phone and can create any numbers and burn them as you wish.
I see alot of talk about trac phones and such. I used to buy trac phones at target maybe 10 yrs ago but lately using the Burner App from the app store for the past 6 yrs or so, never had a problem. Just wanted to see others thoughts on this.

I met her for meet and greet a couple of years ago -- she is very much a hippie type girl -- open relationship with a BF in NOVA (at least she was).
She has her own place north of I64 mid-way between C'ville and Richmond.

I got the feeling she is rather a nympho, and likes stranger sex. And I suspect she has a group of guys seeing her on a semi-frequent basis.
I would not classify her as an UTR. More a selective SB who is selective but is using it as a prime source of $$.
She was a little GPS. Not huge but firm on $$.
She and I parted without me pulling the trigger. And I am still wondering if I did the right thing.

It is very likely that Google knows more about me than I would like, b / c I use an Android smart burner, with GV on it, and log into GV on the web to text at home. However, this setup is extremely effective at making it possible for me to communicate w / SBs with the SO knowing. I am just on my laptop like I am 90% of the time. The SB is also really precluded from hooking up my sugar identity to my IRL identity, which I am super concerned about (extortion for me, paternity for some of you guys).
Anytime you have a piece of software running on a device, there is potential for cross-talk. I quit LinkedIn b / c it became apparent the site was going into the list of people I had emailed with and 'suggesting' adding them to my network. Facebook is similar. If you use it to find out info about a POT, and FB can 'map' you to a page it knows about IRL, your real identity is going to be suggested to a SB as a friend. Obviously, you *really* don't want this to happen. I do know some people put apps on and off their phones, but I definitely worry about breadcrumbs left behind even if I took a messaging app off my IRL phone. What I have got is working for me and I am going to stick with it. A physical burner isn't that hard to hide, even around a SO. If you have a few old phones, I love the old 'hide in plain sight' trick. Mix it in with a bunch of others.
My TracFone burner is a bit old, it has only 8 GB of memory, and I am getting messages memory is nearly full. I can't run all the apps I'd like to that help us get intel on POTs. SnapChat, FB Messenger, etc. Often will match up phone numbers in our address book with girls' profiles on their apps. However, I have so many in my address book, the utility of this is waning. I started entering the year when I add a new contact, so that if an entry is old, I can delete. Getting a new phone, it would be good to have virgin silicon, though some old info will be lost. I will go into a store that sells TracFone this week to see if I can get it transferred.

AD.[/QUOTE]I use one or several of the apps like text now or text free and change the numbers every so often. You don't create a number but you have choice of several choices. Not sure any of them will let you makeup a number.

I guess worst-case scenario like a SB getting crazy on you, or trying to claim she's preggo even if she's not etc.
I've burned a few numbers if I don't want to see a girl that was maybe borderline sketchy and knock wood all been well. I realize the burner app may have some electronic link to payment etc, but if the number is burned into space I don't think the average SB who's broke can get a trace or find out your real identity. Girls change their text now numbers all the time too on me, so once they do I have no way to contact as well.
I may go old school and grab another Trac phone and buy the prepaid cards, I'm assuming you get the cards to refill the minutes?

The minutes for calls, I never use up all those, I don't call much (just when I am preparing for the M&G). I purchase reload cards in pharmacies to get 3 months of activity, mostly. You can go onto the TracFone website and add MB to your plan just using a prepaid debit card (that you have anyway from paying for stuff like your SA membership). Of course, you never want to use your IRL credit card for that. IK, what is TracFone going to do to me, but you don't want a SO asking about some $10 charge from a weird vendor.
Just get burner number. I read a new article about some girl trying to get a hotel to give information on a guest she had a one night stay with and got pregnant. She wanted the guy to pay child support. It took her years and the courts still sided with the hotel, and she never got his information. Unless its rape, murder, of the SB has a crazy good lawyer I wouldn't worry about them getting your real name. It's harder for me to explain to friends and family why I have 2 phones. I had a SB who I only met up once. She told me to pull out but, she was riding me so I couldn't pull out on time half of my load made it in. Gave her extra 100 and told her to get plan B. She hits me up a few weeks later telling me she pregnant, and that she use the extra money for rent. She didn't get plan B. I just burn my number, and block her on SA. This was 7 months ago. Damn them Latino girls are fertile.

She pulled that one huh. Yes I been on the Burner app for years now and never ever had any issues once it's burned it's gonzo.
That's crazy, she may or may not have been but I'd not want to stick around to find out.
I had a similar situation back in the Craiglist days, I had cool ways to find non pros in the gigs section. Same thing, a 19 yr old Latina I saw a few times was a little freak for a few weeks I saw her, took it bare in all holes etc. Then, one day she snapped and (I guess she had one kid already) so she took a photo of her wrist band at some hospital to act like she was admitted LOL, and said I'm pregnant and need I forgot XXX amount for an abortion. Her last words were (this was on yahoo email) "because if I'm having a baby, so are you! And don't try to block me I got your plate number" LOL I think I got paranoid for 2 days but I deleted that yahoo email, burned that number and that was that. Some girls are crazy like that.

I carry plan B in my car now. It's a lot cheaper to order the generic ones for $10-$20 off Amazon. It saved me a few times.

Too many chains now have video systems where when they turn on the TV, it displays the name the room is registered to.
