Stopped by Best on Sunday and met MMS, got the usual routine,"have you been here before? (Y) how long you want to stay? (hour) We have new girl, and you will like. (okay) Money please?" My favorite place was so quiet, empty of all other mongers. I think it was a very slow day.

My ATF was so happy to see me. There had been scheduling confusion last week and she had to cancel on me (blame MMS).

She thought I would be angry (no need. I went to Castle and had a nice visit, which I reported to why'all last week. Shhhhh don't tell my ATF).

75 minutes after I arrived, I had to leave (MMS insisted) but the place was still empty.

This is "standard NoVA" but my ATF makes me feel so good! Worth the house standard and the tip. I always tip at least standard (and for my ATF, usually Ulysses, or the Andrew triplets). YMMV, and your tipping level will be different. But for me, it is part of being nice to the lady (and the ladies).

I've come to the conclusion quality trumps quantity. I came to this conclusion after a delightful visit with a Japanese girl working at one of the local agencies. And yes, she really is Japanese because I am fluent and she spoke without a trace of Korean in her Japanese and she was very familiar with the places in Tokyo. The price was about 100% more than what the local NOVA AMPs are asking for but instead of a mediocre $120 HJ with bad attitude you get the entire menu (and more) with a beautiful smile and some delightful playfulness. Sometimes I'd crap out or sometimes I'd come out. It was kind of an adventure. I can't tell you how many unusual situations occurred playing the area. It was fun for a while but got scripted every time. What's your name? Where are you from? I've never been there what's it like? How long are you going to stay? What do you think about <insert current news event ? Nice / Bad weather. Kind of monotonous so I stopped for a while. I started up only after I started drinking again. Even the best AMP providers I've had can't compete with that. With a little research, a girl going for $300-$400 per hour would definitely be worth it.

Stopped by MWC earlier tonight since it was along my route home for once. I haven't been there in a long time but MMS seemed to remember me at least vaguely. And then the haggle over it.

Unfortunate as another AMP close to home gets crossed off my list.

To my mind, it's helpful to have a full and free airing of the issues.

PD: Thanks for the input. Mongering skills are acquired through experience, and I'm the first to admit I'm still acquiring mine. Last week I had an AMP experience which, while limited to NoVa finish, was very satisfying. (See my report #5280.) I tipped. 6, and the provider accepted it without grousing.

This week I had a much less attractive provider, and it became increasingly clear as the session went on that she was going through the motions, just doing it for the money. (When I asked her if she liked her job, she just said, it pays well.) I particularly didn't want to give her a good tip after the 'covering' experience I described, she seemed to find servicing me distasteful.

For $.6, condos provide guaranteed FS, freedom from upsell and a better attitude. If you tip. 8 for disrobe + HJ, you are paying the same for a lot less service (unless the massage is important to you, to me it's not).

The AMP experience varies enormously depending on the luck of the draw and interpersonal chemistry. I'm sure plenty of you have developed relationships over time where AMP providers give FS after they come to know you and trust you, and you don't talk about it here. (Indeed that happened to me, it was a great pleasure but I stopped seeing her for other reasons.) Perhaps it's best to develop such an 'ATF, ' or just accept the cloak and dagger and transient nature of the condos.

On my way home from work Friday, I stopped by at Spa Castle. There are a few new ladies there. My luck of the draw today was Julie who says she has been there for less than a week. I had the usual good table shower followed by a few minutes in the sauna. Back in the room, she gave an decent massage although not as good as Candy, Tina, or Bebe, all of whom I have seen there previously. However, I was quite satisfied with it. On the way to the room, she asks me how long. I tell her one hour. She said something about 45 minutes and I said no. 1 hour. She didn't say anything else, so I pressed her (by this time we were in the room) and asked why she said 45 minutes. She said never mind. 1 hour.

I "get comfortable" and while I'm sitting there for 5, then 10 minutes, I'm starting to think she meant it was going to be a 45-minute wait. I again start thinking about leaving, but the door opens and a lady walks in, with a heavy sigh as if she just rushed down to see me.

Off to the shower. From the beginning, it was completely rushed, as if there was a queue of 10 guys waiting and I was holding them up. Short strokes, just enough soap to call it a table shower. She tossed buckets of water on me like she was trying to douse a forest fire. The drying off was nice and a bit playful.

Back to the room. Rushed massage. Short strokes, everything moving in double-time. Not relaxing at all. About 10 minutes into that, a little soft-touch and then she asks me to flip over way too soon. She starts negotiating with me and then says you gave $80, I'll give you $20 back. What? I thought she was talking about the tip, but then I realized she meant she wanted me done in 30 minutes.

I told her no, that I told MMS I wanted an hour and if it was going to be less, she should've been honest with me. I started to get off the table, but she pushed me back down, covered me with a towel and went to talk to MMS. As soon as she left, I got up and began to get dressed. I was putting on my shoes as she came back in and was very unhappy to see me leaving. She was quite insistent and said the MMS said 1 hour was okay. (Like I was going to say "oh, okay then").

I went to the door and I asked her if she wanted to check and see if it was clear. She didn't move toward the door, so I opened it, looked out, then made my way to the door. She was trailing me, asking me to stay. I went into the stairwell and she actually came into the doorway, hoping I'd come back in.

So, I left after about 20 min of rushed service with no completion and out my. 8. I didn't leave any tip, of course.

This is not typical of my experience with Papaya (I've been there many times). Once, I had gone and it was very busy. They let me know and I came back later, greeted with a bunch of smiles. The ladies are usually some of the best in the area, IMHO. Now, there's a MMS I don't trust and I have to wonder if I'll get the same sub-standard treatment next time.

In hind sight, I should've left when I suspected MMS was trying to say something about 45 minutes to begin with.

Please, Mamasans, respect our time and our money. Just deal with us honestly and you'll have repeat customers for a very long time. Are there really enough one-time clients out there for you to treat us this way? A little courtesy goes a long way (in both directions, yes?).

I saw the signs, it's just around the side of the same building as Papaya. I was now too short on cash and out of time to start another 1 hour session, but I'm interested in trying out.
